Walking down to the subway, I grabbed Timothy and picked him up while I walked into the train, squeezing until I got to a seat and put him beside me while he swung his legs around singing a song I guess he learned from his class and I got unto my phone to check the time so I could go to my work to get the check that they owe me. While I was on the phone, I got text from Michael, letting me know about that he had a good time, which in my head I rolled my eyes because he does this all the time, we fuck, I get what I want, and he text me that he loved and want it again sometime. He thinks I don't know he likes me, but I do. Its just that I have my eye on Elijah.

Feeling some shaking on my leg, looking down and seeing my brother letting me know its tome to get off the train I grabbed his hand, walking out of the train door and going to the diner down the street. While we was walking the only thing you could see is crake heads asking for change, hookers in their skippy skirts and high heel broken shoes. I just shook my head in disappointment when I seen a group of kids on the corner sailing rocks to a older man that could be my grandfather.

Finally reaching the diner, I looked inside and seen a few people in the diner, opening the door and hearing the bell I told my brother to go and sit down in the food stool and told him I'll be back. Walking to the back, I saw my boss, Linda, cooking a few pancajes while Jennifer was flipping the bacon over for the bacon cheeseburger deluxe.

"Ah!, Anthony its good to see you come in. I know you off for today but could you do some tables for me, I promise I'll add few more bucks to your check" breathing a little hard trying to rush tk cook the pancakes.

"Yea, sure I'll do it. Timothy at the front, could you make him something to eat if you don't mind. I have to go grocery shopping since my mom didn't do it this month." Rolling her eyes she nodded, handing me my apron and notepad.

"Your mother need help son. You and your brother need to leave that place. Remember that offer still stands, I'm not moving until the end of this month so think about" turning around and goes back cooking.

Linda is like another mother to me and my brother. She knew what we going through with my mother,and she tried to let us live with her, but my dumb self would defend my mother and lie when I was younger until I realised I made a mistake. She offered me her house, everything paid off, only thing I need to pay for is the light and gas bill, the rest she will pay. She just wants us to be in a safe enviroment, but I can't because regardless, Timothy still loves his mother and will have a fit, but I don't want to disappoint him when he sees the real her. I hides him from that.

Tying the apron, I grabbed my notepad and walked out the kitchen and gave Thomas a rub on his bead and hearing him chuckle a little. I went to the table to only see Elijah best friend, Za'Kayla ,with her boyfriend I guess, clearing my throat to get their attention from the make-out section they was having.

"Oh, sorry...Anthony right? Anthony hey! You okay from what happened todat at school, I mean I would've beat Andrew dick sucking, wanna be Justin Bei-" her boyfriend closing his hand over her mouth that she wouldn't continue with her rant of that dumb ass crew.

"I'm sorry man, she always like this, but we are concerned because Andrew been like that since the beginning of high school." taking his hand off Za'Kayla who was just looking at him and me waiting for my response, which led me to chuckle a little.

"I'm okay Za'Kayla. I just wanted to get out of there before I punched the hell out of him. I just had to get out of the school but you don't gave to worry. But please tell Elijah that I'm sorry that he had to see me like that." rubbing the back of my head nervously

"Eh, he ok, stunned, but ok. But enough that, I want to eat some food I'm hungry. I would like to get a big thing of cheese fries with extra cheese, a large Sprite, a half of cheese cake pie, two sausages with extra kraut, and a thing of fried Oreos. You want anything babe?" looking at him while we both look at her like she lost ger damn marbles.

"What? I'm hungry"

"Oook, I just want a bacon cheeseburger, with a cup of tea thats all" nodding I left and put the note on the meal wheel for the notes and orders. I walked to other tables to get what they need, including going to Thomas to see shat he needed. Moments later, Za'Kayla oder came in, grabbing a large tray and bringing to her.

"Finally! Food is here for my tummy yummy!" getting up and start doing doing a little dance while everyone looked at her like she crazy, even her boyfriend just put his head on the table.

"Za'Kayla, sit down......NOW" deep voicing her, which made her bite her lip and sat back down, but no before crossing her legs

"Yes, daddy" which almost made a few people choke on their drink. I made it to their table and gave it to them and walked off laughing.

I checked the time to see, it was almost time for the grocery store to close, so I went into the back, taking off the apron and getting my money from Linda, thanking her and kissing her on the cheek leaving and grabbing Timothy to get on the bus instead the train and went to the grocery store. While we finally got to the store, I grabbed a list we need for the house. I also made a list for the bills.

Water Bill is $356.78, Light Bill 68.34, Food $300.66, and Cable Bill 89.00, Thomas Daycare 50.00. Hmmm, I'll have about $135.22 to spend for my self some clothes since Thomas is stacked up from the clothes in Salvation Army clothes give away.

A few minutes later from grocery shopping, I got my phone and called a cab to take us home. Taxi finally getting here, we put the food up and drove home, seeing my mother car in the driveway meaning she finna go back out..........again .

Getting out the car, I got my thing s for the house and gave the cab driver 50 dollars, walking in the house with Timothy behind me. While I was putting the food up and Thomas going to his room, I heard a presence behind me, turning around to see some dude half naked with a damn gut, looking through my fridge and was about to grab Timothy's juice, before I said something.

"What the fuck is you doing?!?! Put that down this ain't yo damn house" grabbing the drink from him, surrendering his hands up from me

"Whoa man, my bad youngster, I was just thirsty that's all. No need to get haste about it." growling lowly, I turned around and going to my mother room, but stopping and looking at this man.

"Get. The. Fuck.Oit.My.House. Before.I Break.Your. Neck" threatened slowy and seeing him horrified, he ran out the house. Turning around and walking to her room and seeing her putting on ugly ass make up she had since my grandmother died.

"What the fuck and who the fuck was that in my house?" Stopping what she doing, she looked at me like I lost my mind.

"Exscuse me? Your hous-"

"Yeah, my damn house. I pay the damn bills while you is out here partying and fucking random dudes and coming home drunk like a slut you is. I don't know what th-" before I could finish she slapped the fuck out of me, breathing hard

" I am still your mother and you will-"

"Fuck you, go be a bitch of a mom like you been since." Scoffing she got her shoes and walked off and out the door, but not before turning around

"You just like your dead beat of a father"

"Mhm, it takes a dead beat to know one" slamming the door and getting in the car, swirving out.

Groaning, I went to the couch and slamming myself into the couch.

"Why me, God? Why me?"
