I walked home, giving Ben the signal and I walked into the kitchen. I quietly made my way upstairs. My home was very cool, but also creepy at times. See, it's quite old and some parts of it we kept old, but it's been renovated over the years. And I mean, walking through a giant dark manor is kind of creepy anyways. I padded up a lot of stairs until I got to my room. I turned on the light, shut the door behind me, and changed. I didn't sleep very well, as I was thinking about friends. Piper was one of the first "friends" I've been making. Actually, I wouldn't know, as I haven't really had any friends before. I really hoped that Piper liked me, she seemed nice, but something was holding her back a little, I could tell.

When I woke up the next morning, it was early. Of course, it's early, the one time I don't have to be up early. I shrugged and looked out my window. Rain. I had really wanted to meet up with Piper today. I walked downstairs to get breakfast. I was early so I went into the kitchen to make some pancakes and got some orange juice. I quite liked cooking. One of my sister's kittens rubbed up against my leg and purred. "Hey there Sans." I said to the kitten. My sister had just got five kittens and we named all of them after characters from Undertale. So we had, Sans, Papyrus, Asriel, Toriel, and Frisk. I got one kitten and I named her Cactus. Cactus stays in the guard break room for the most part, I don't know why.

I was watching Parks and Recreation on Netflix (I'm on season four) when I thought of a way I could see Piper today. I paused the show and went into my parents' office area thing. "Mum! Dad!" I exclaimed. "Yes Stevie?" My mum answered. I then thought about how I would need a way to tell them about Piper without revealing my nighttime escapes to the garden. "I met this girl at um, a parade one time, and since then I've seen her a few times, and we've been getting kind of close, I was wondering if she could come over today?" I asked, making up a dumb story. "Sure!" My father said, earning a glare from my mum. My mum didn't like it when I had people over, which I didn't understand because that didn't happen very often. My father however, really wanted me to have friends and live a somewhat normal life. 

I had texted Piper and she told me she would be over at twelve. I ran down to our front entrance and went outside. "Excuse me!" I said loudly. The guards looked at me and saluted. "Please really, don't salute to me." I exclaimed, rolling my eyes. "I am having someone over, please do not, aim your artillery at her or be too rough, as she is quite quiet and shy." I announced. "Yes Stevie!" Ben yelled from where he was, making me laugh. I sat down at the end of our path, just for extra caution. I kept checking my phone and I had a good talk with one of the soldiers named Rhys. We actually had a lot of protection, keeping people from getting into this area, so I had sent Ben and his brother to take her into this area, because I trust them the most.

I was getting bored when our front gate started to slowly open, revealing Ben, Charlie, and in between them, Piper, looking very amused and cautious.
