The Next Day

Quinn's Pov

I got finished getting dressed and I heard a knock on the door. I went to open it and I saw Coady. I smiled. "Hey Coady. I'm just getting finished dressing." I said. "Oh ok." Coady said. I grabbed my bag. "So what do you want to do?" I asked. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to breakfast with me?" Coady asked, scratching the back of his neck. I grabbed his hand. "Your neck must be hurting." I said. "I'll be alright." Coady said. "Well, let's go eat." I said, shutting the door. Coady nodded and looked down at my hand. I looked down too, and saw that I was still holding it. Coady chuckled. I blushed. I went to pull away, but Coady held my hand. We walked over to the elevator and then headed to get breakfast.

At Breakfast

We got to IHOP and took a seat. We waited for a waiter to come up to us. "Hey, can I see your phone real quick?" Coady asked. I was confused, but I handed him my phone. After 2 minutes he handed my phone back. "Now you can contact me in Kik, Skype, and regular messaging." Coady said. I nodded and the waiter came up to us finally. "How may I help you two?" The lady asked. "I'll have chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon." I said. "I'll have the same." Coady said. "What would you guys like to drink?" The lady asked. "Apple juice." I said. "I'll have grape juice." Coady said. The lady nodded, wrote it down and walked away. "So what do you want to talk about?" Coady asked. I shrugged. "Let's talk about you. Where do you come from?" Coady asked. "I came from a small town in Winnipeg Canada. My mom moved to Toronto and then I met Shyla who is now also my mom. My mom was abusive. I finally went to Shyla about it and then I am now her daughter. How about you?" I asked. "I came from Prince Edward Island up in Canada. My family moved to Boston last summer." Coady said. "Well, that kind of explains the a in your name. Regularly it is spelled Cody." I said. Coady nodded. The food and drinks arrived. The lady put the stuff on the table and walked away. We began eating.

After Eating

The waitress walked over and put the bill on the table. Coady got out 40 dollars. (IHOP is fucking expensive) We walked out and headed towards the park. I was running towards the park until I saw a car coming. Coady grabbed me and pulled me to the sidewalk. "You okay?" Coady asked, looking to see if I was injured. "I'm fine." I said. Coady looked into my eyes. I looked into his eyes. His eyes were hypnotic. He looked down at my lips and then back at me. Coady leaned in. I did too, but then I heard a cough. I looked over and saw Tyler. "Damn it Tyler!" I thought. "Your mom has been looking for you." Tyler said. I got out my phone and saw I had 3 missed calls. I rolled my eyes. "Also, come on we are going to be late to Pax." Tyler said. I grabbed Coady's hand and we began walking to Pax with Tyler.

At Pax

When we got to Pax mom was standing there looking for Tyler. Mom ran up to us and hugged me. "Are you okay?" Mom asked. "I'm fine. Coady asked me out to breakfast." I said. "Yeah, and apparently you can't watch for cars." Tyler said. "What do you mean?" Mom asked. I rolled my eyes. "Coady and I were heading to the park I forgot to look both ways and I almost got hit by a car, but Coady grabbed me in time." I said. Mom looked at Coady and then me. "Thanks Coady." Mom said. Coady nodded. "We'll talk about this later. I have a booth to get too." Mom said, turning around and leaving. Tyler walked away. I sighed. Coady pulled me in for a hug. I hugged him back. "Who would of thought going out to breakfast could be a crime." Coady said. "Yeah, tell me about it." I said. We looked into each others eyes. I blushed and smiled. Coady kissed my cheek and smiled. "Let's go in before your mom kills you." Coady said. I nodded and we walked inside of Pax.

At The Show

Shyla's Pov

I walked up to Robert and tapped his shoulder. He turned around. "Oh hey are you ready?" Robert asked. I nodded. "So are you familiar with the Supernatural intro?" Robert asked. "Yeah." I said. "Ok, good." Robert said. "Robert, Shyla you guys are on in 5." A person said walking into the room. I nodded and the door shut. "Show time." Robert said, walking over to the door. I followed just behind him and shut the door when we walked out. When we got to the stage I stayed behind so Robert could introduce me. "Hey everyone! I have some amazing songs to sing, but there is a special guest today and they sing certain songs that are amazing when they sing it. So help me welcome Shyla Fong or Shyla Mizanin." Robert said. I walked out and hugged Robert. I waved at the fans. "You ready Shyla?" Robert asked. "More than ready. Let's do this." I said. Robert chuckled and looked at his band. They nodded and they started playing the song.

Quinn's Pov

"I forgot your mom sang so well." Coady said."Yeah." I said, walking up to him and hugged him. "Come on. We still have lots to do." Coady said, grabbing my hand and dragged me to the games. "Hey Coady, I'm going to go to the bathroom. I'll be back." I said. Coady hugged me. Coady nodded and kissed me. I pulled away shocked and happy.
