Shyla's Pov

"Quinn! Kory! Dinner's ready!" I yelled. I heard footsteps running towards the kitchen. I laughed and watched as my children ran into the kitchen. I heard the door open. I looked to see it was Schmidt.

   "Daddy!" Kory said running up to his dad. "Hey, Kory. How are you doing sport?" Schmidt asked. "I'm doing okay. Do you want to see what I drew in art today?" Kory asked. Schmidt chuckled. "After dinner." Schmidt said.

   Kory smiled and ran back into the kitchen to sit at the table. "Hi dad." Quinn said. "Hi sweetie." Schmidt said, walking over to Quinn and kissing the top of her head. Schmidt then looked at me. "Did you think I forgot about the prettiest woman in my life?" Schmidt asked. I shook my head. Schmidt walked over to me and kissed me.

   I smiled. "Ew!" Kory said. Schmidt and I laughed as we stared at our son. "I think we did well. What do you think Mr. Smith?" I asked. "I think we did very well. Mrs. Smith." Schmidt said, kissing my cheek. 

  Schmidt sat at the table and I brought the food over to the table. I sat down and smiled at my family. They started digging in and I just sat there staring at them. My eyes started getting heavy and then everything went black. 

Schmidt's Pov

I got up and caught my wife before she hit the ground. She looked very pale. I checked for a pulse and there wasn't one. I picked her up and brought her to my car. Quinn grabbed her brother and held him close. I started the car and drove to the hospital. 

Time Skip

When we got to the hospital, I grabbed Shyla and ran into the hospital. "Somebody! Help my wife please!" I said. A nurse and a doctor came running up to me. "What's wrong, sir?" The nurse asked. "My wife collapsed while we were having dinner and I didn't feel a pulse." I said starting to cry. "We need a gurney!" The doctor yelled.

   Someone brought over a gurney and put Shyla onto it. The doctor and nurse started  wheeling Shyla down the hall. I followed behind, but a nurse stopped me. "Sir, you can't come back here." The nurse said. "Why not I'm her husband?" I said. "This is for medical staff only sir, I'm going to have to ask you to sit in the waiting room." The nurse said before turning around and going towards her. 

Present Day

"So what happened to her daddy?" Kory said. "She died from what was killing her. Your mother had stage 5 breast cancer and she never told any of us. That is why she collapsed while we were having dinner." I said. Kory frowned and hugged his sister.  "Can you tell us stories on when she was alive and well?" Kory asked. I nodded. "It all started when....

TADA it took forever but it's finally here. It took a years worth of writers block to finally make this finale. Well I hope you enjoyed this story. Bye guys :D
