I'm proud of myself.
I haven't caused a bigger mess, I haven't run to anyone and begged them to fix things for  me. I didn't bring anyone else into this, I let things be. I only said my apology; I didn't even ask for one from you, I don't think. I said what I needed to say, I attempted to talk it out like a sensible person and smooth things over that night. I can't help it if you ignore me, and the consequences: that's on you.
Maybe this is me growing up a little more, even if you don't grow up with me.
