Jada's p.o.v

"Alright back to your cells!"

A guard yelled and I stood up. I knew better than to disobey an order. Last time anyone did that, well let's just say we couldn't tell who they were for 3 weeks. They were so beaten and bruised we just didn't know.

"Move it!"

A guard shouted and that's when I realized I stopped moving. Crap!

"Sorry."

I mumbled as I began walking yet again. I walked till I was near my cell. The doors were opened and I walked in.

'Like clockwork.'

I told my wolf, armor. She is a white and grey wolf. Her grey fur covers her whole body except for the end of her tail, in between her eyes, her snout, and the ends of her paws. That's why I always called her armor because it looked like she had armor on.

She giggled and I smiled. If your wondering why no one shifts and fights their way out its because we are out numbered. The guards here have bullets with wolfsbane in them.

One time someone shifted and tried to escape and he was shot. He had wolfsbane in his system for 5 weeks. And when we woke up he didn't remember a thing.

The doors shut behind me and I sighed. Here I am again. I look at the clock on the wall and it says 2 in the afternoon.

"Excuse me?"

I ask a guard as he passes by. He turns to me with a bored expression.

"What?"

He asked with a stone cold voice.

"Why are we in our cells so early?"

I ask and he sighs. He places a hand on his gun holster and I gulp.

"Alpha Ace is doing an inspection. We want everything to be perfect."

He says and I nod.

"Thank you."

I tell him and I walk back to my bed. I take a seat and lean back against the wall.

'So what have you been doing?'

I ask armor and she rolls her eyes.

'Just walking back and fourth in our mind. Thinking about the outside and our mate.'

She says and I sigh. Another punishment that goes along with a life sentance to prison is not being able to find your mate. And if you have your mate the separation is worse. I let my blonde hair out of its braid trying not to break my last hair tye.

'Our mate. I wonder if fate will give him a new one because we won't ever find him.'

The thought caused armor to growl. I sighed as I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

"Open this cell."

A voice ordered and I slowly opened my eyes. Outside my cell was alpha Ace. The doors unlocked and he walked in.

"Who is this and what is she in for?"

He asked as he pointed to me. I bowed my head In submission. It's a sign of respect as a prisoner.

"Sir she is Jada miles and she is in for the murder of Nicholas Rodriguez."

A guard said and Ace nodded. I saw this as I peaked through my blonde hair that I let loose.

"I see, what is her sentence?"

He asks as I look up. I don't look up all the way though, just enough to see what's going on.

"Life sir."

Another guard said and Ace turned to me. Great, now I get interrogated.

"Her mate?"

He asked and I sighed. The thought of my mate was a sensitive one for me.

"She didn't find him yet. But you know how fate works, he will always make mates cross paths."

A guard says and Ace nods. I look through the guards and I spot Danny. He sends me a small smile and I nod back to him.

"Did you kill him?"

Ace asks me and I look at him. I look at his ear, not in his eyes. That's a major sign of disrespect.

"No sir. I was framed."

I tell him and he nods. He stands in front of my bed still.

"So why are you not on your knees before me begging for release?"

He says and my wolf chuckles. She's a dirty minded wolf and so am i. So naturally I had to hold back the urge to tell him my dirty thought.

"Because no one believes me."

I tell him and he nods. His eyes rake over my body and I begin to feel self conscious.

"She's a smart one. To bad she isn't my mate."

Ace said as he gripped my chin, after that he left my cell.. Danny smiled back at me and held up 3 fingers. And I knew exactly what that ment.

In three hours I would be free.
