it's Monday. It's been a few weeks since I started properly hanging out with Luke. He seems happier now, and more open, although he still comes to school with scars but... Well... I don't actually know why he does but... I won't question it... Yet...

It's lunch and I'm starving, I didn't have breakfast cuz Luke hasn't eaten in days and I gave my food to him... Yet again, I won't question... Yet.... He didn't come to school today, he was in the park, but I had to go to school so my parents wouldn't get angry with me. As I walk to the courtyard, I see Mary hiding behind a... Trash can? "Uh... Hey Mary..." I say, she was totally distracted "whatcha doing? Have you returned to your home?" I wasn't implying that she lived in a garbage dump, I was implying that she was trash, aka, a fangirl of many fandoms and like, a full fledged fangirl. God she's trash... "shut up... Im boy hunting..." She says, uh... Boy hunting? "Wait what? You seriously can't be Boy Hunting... Who's the target?" I ask, honestly she hasn't done this since 8th grade... Somethings never change. She points from behind the trash can and I see Ryan... My friend from 1st grade... He was like my brother "are you really hunting Ryan?" I ask "he's cute!" She says kinda loud, "and plus, since you know him really well you can help me get him, then I'll help you get your own boyfriend" she says smiling wide, I mean... I had a crush on Luke but... We're not gonna talk about that. I blush thinking about it but look at her like she was crazy, well I mean she is "Mary! I don't need a guy in my life!" I state, she smirks "you think I don't know about him?" She says in a tone unmistakable, oh no... She knows. "Who?" I ask, trying to play dumb, "don't play dumb" she says. didn't work... "You have a crush on that black haired dude named Lucas, I see the way you look at him, and you talk to him more then you talk to me, you only talk to me when he's not here, and you still text him" "dude you're crazy" I say trying to walk away "help me, and if you don't, I'll tell the whole school to know about your crush on Lucas" I stop in my tracks, she runs the newspaper so me having his name and it saying I like him wouldn't be too ba- "he will read it" Mary says as if she's reading my mind... She did. I sigh "fine... I'll help...." I say, she jumps up and starts to push me towards him "what the heck are you doing?!" She smirks "go ask him on a date" she says, a date?! With Ryan?! My brother?! "What no! I'm not doing that!" I say trying to struggle, usually I'm stronger then Mary but this time she was freaken strong as the hulk. "Hey, if he turns you down then we'll know he's into me, cuz you're the only other person he likes" she says, "and if he turns you down, I'll know that he likes me" I still struggle, I did not want to do this, I like Luke not Ryan, "what will happen if he actual says yes?" I ask, "well, you can go on a date" she smirks, ok I am terrified now. I get pushed into him "oh, hey Maria" Ryan says, "uh, hey Ryan..." I say, "um... I was wondering..." sorry Luke... "would you like to go on a date with me?" I ask, sadly. Please say no. Please say no. Please say no. "sure, I'd Love too" he says. you. mother. fluffer. why... "ok... um... how bout Saturday?" I asked, I didn't like this. "sure" he says. I put on a fake smile as he walks away. I turn to Mary. "I. Hate. You." I say growling, "oh c'mon, I just wanted to see if he liked me, guess not" she says, she looks down, then looks back up, "But hey, at least you have a date with one of the hottest guys in school" "no! he's not! he's my 'brother'!" I yell, she smirks "well have fun" she says walking away. I go silent. this is just great...

Just as I was getting close to Luke, this happens... Ugh
