Annalise could feel energy flowing through her body though she couldn't explain how. All she could remember was Hector putting that cursed stone against her flesh and literally killing her and taking all of her powers. Now she felt renewed but in a way that was unfamiliar to her. Looking down at her hands Annalise saw that her skin was pale, not that that was really anything knew, she had always had alabaster skin tone but this still felt strange to her.

"Annalise? Don't be mad but we did what we had to do." Alice spoke softly probably trying to make sure she wouldn't freak out on everyone around me.

Annalise turned to Garrett and could see fresh blood on his lips, her blood. A part of her was furious but grateful because now because of Garrett she had a power that no matter what Hector did he couldn't take away. She would also be able to protect her daughter and revenge all of her family including kill her own father who had no problem taking Annalise's grandmother from her.

"She's going to take this the wrong way and probably kill us." Rosalie spoke up.

"No, I have other people who I would want to kill first." Annalise respond as she look up at the Cullen's. "Teach me how to use my new abilities and once I have them down Hector won't have a clue what hit him when I take his head."

Garrett smiled as he took Annalise's hand. "Hold on tight, time to run like a vampire."

Within seconds both Annalise and Garrett were running at a speed that in Annalise's mind was unreal. Now she wasn't held by mortal or immortal laws, instead she could move just like the vampires could. She had their speed and she was going to make sure that she put it to good use. Knowing that Edward and Bella were still holding her daughter safe made Annalise feel that she could learn quickly and take down Hector before he caused true damage. Stopping beside a tree Annalise watched as Garrett looked around.

"What are you looking for?" Annalise questioned Garrett's unusual behavior.

"You will need to feed, once you do that it will be a lot easier to teach you." Garrett said as he took off and took down the first animal that came to his sight.

Watching as Garrett took down the animal, Annalise could now see through her vampire eyes what Garrett was capable of doing. Not to mention killing. As long as he or any of the other vampires didn't bit and immortal they were still capable of taking the head of one.

"Come on!" Garrett called out to Annalise.

Following the smell of blood, Annlise ran up to Garrett and looked down at what appeared to be a mountain lion. It was an older one so that did make her feel a little better as she bent down beside Garrett and he in his best effort explained to her what blood did for vampires.

After he first feeding Annalise stood beside Garrett and wiped the blood from her mouth. At once it seemed her senses were heightened. Everything around her looked crystal clear. Hector wouldn't see this coming after all he still probably though that none of the vampires would think to turn her into one of them.

"You all can help me too. I know their moves, how an immortal fights so I can train you so that you can remove an immortals head before they take yours." Annalise spoke confidently as she went back to the Cullens.

"Take down immortals? You really think that is possible since Hector has an army?" Alice asked as she and Jasper walked over to her.

"I trained them, I know their every move so I will be able to teach you how to avoid getting killed all you have to do is control your urge to bite...which I am pretty sure each of you know how to do, except for one." Annalise said and everyone looked over to Garrett.

"What?" he questioned with a shrug.

"Keep your fangs to yourself or you will die." Annalise warned.

The Cullens agreed to help Annalise though many of them were not sure how this would end. Going to the backyard Annalise stood in the center waiting for one of the Cullen's to attack her. So of course, the one with the more advance fighting experience went first, Jasper. Just because he was able to take down newborn vampires didn't mean he would be able to take down an immortal and Annalise knew that.

Using his vampire speed, he went running at her full speed. About to jump on her back Annalise surprised Jasper as she turned at the last second and caught him. Using her elbow, she hit him backwards and the true training began. Teaching the vampires to grab onto the immortal's head and pull with all their might was easy, defending themselves against an immortal that might be older than them...not so much. Trying her best to show the Cullens any and all moves she could think of Annalise held onto hope that somehow, they would defeat Hector and now that she was the weaker species if she used the stone she would be able to get rid of Hector, hopefully forever.

Later that night as Annalise went to her room, she quickly called Edward just to make sure Vivian was alright and safe. Lucky for her Edward was true to his word and had kept her daughter safe. He wouldn't tell where they were because he said he didn't trust phone so Annalise respected him and decided not to push the subject. After talking to Vivian for a while Annalise stood before the mirror in her room and looked at her knew vampire self.

Her hair was a more vibrant red, her skin much like the same color of Carlisle's. Her eyes were the same color just a lot more intense. Closing her eyes she sighed until she heard the door to her room open. Looking up in the mirror to see who entered her room she wasn't really surprised to see that it was Garrett.

"Do you have a minute?" Garrett asked as he leaned against the door.

"Yeah... I guess I have all the time in the world, now don't I?" Annalise said as she turned around to face him.

"Yeah...I admit I didn't think before I turned you. However when I looked down at your lifeless body in my arms. Anger and rage rushed through me and I couldn't ever picture a world without you in it. Alice told me there was a chance that I could turn you so I took the risk and bit you but I don't regret it." Garret spoke calmly as he walked up to Annalise. "I have lost you so many times, this time I could bring you back...so I did."

Annalise watched as Garrett slowly extended his hand and softly caressed her cheek. She was still furious with him but the way he talked to her made her want to love him even more than she had before and really before she knew what she was doing Annalise was in Garrett's arms locked in a passionate kiss. Not truly knowing what the future held made Annalise worry but she knew she could be killed again just like any vampire could and wanting to be with Garrett somehow comforted her.
