Bravestar laid on skystone with her belly swollen with kits. bravestar felt like she was going to explode. tinyleaf padded up to bravestar. "how are you feeling" the very small golden she-cat asked "like I'm going to explode" bravestar groaned and raised her head. tinyleaf chuckles and rest a paw on her sister's belly "bravestar your going to have 6 kits" tinyleaf looked scared. "why do you look so scared about me having 6 kits" bravestar asked. "6 kits is a lot of kits" tinyleaf meowed. "I never delivered 6 kits before only 1-4 never 6" tinyleaf explained then a pain ripples throw bravestar's muscular body and tinyleaf helps her into the den.
Bravestar looked down at the 6 kits she had just kitted. shininglake came to help tinyleaf with bravestar's delivery. bravestar kitted 3 she-cats and three toms. the three she-cats are brookkit,mistykit and redkit. the toms are rockkit, thistlekit and kestrelkit. bravestar licked her kits heads and laid her head on her paws as her kits suckled from her belly.
Bravestar stood on skystone her clan looked up at the powerful leader. bravestar's 6 kits tumbled around on skystone till mistykit's paw slipped and she tumbled over the edge of skystone. bravestar hurled herself over the side and grabbed mistykit in her powerful jaws and wrapped her muscular body around her as they hit the ground. cats yowled in horror and ran to their leader. bravestar stood up mistykit crouched beneath her trembling with fear. bravestar licked her terrified kit and carried her back up to her den. "mama thanks for saving me" mistykit squeaked. " your welcome my dear" bravestar's powerful yet soft voice echoed in the den.
"Mistykit, brookkit, redkit, thistlekit, rockkit and kestrelkit your apprentice names are mistypaw, brookpaw, redpaw, thistlepaw, rockpaw and kestrelpaw" bravestar yowled her kits names. "Fawnbelly you'll mentor brookpaw, rubyclaw you'll mentor rockpaw, honeymoon you'll mentor redpaw, redheart you'll mentor thistlepaw ,winterfang you'll mentor kestrelpaw and doveleap you'll mentor mistypaw" bravestar meowed loudly.
Bravestar sat beside chaosheart then doveleap padded up with redheart "bravestar can you take mistypaw and thistlepaw out for us" doveleap asked. "of course" bravestar stands up and calls the two apprentices.the two apprentices followed their mother out of camp and into the forest. "mother what are we going to be doing" mistypaw asked. "battle training" the massive black she-cat meowed. Thistlepaw leaped onto bravestar knocking her over. that's when mistypaw notices something odd about her mother. "bravestar what's wrong with your shoulder" mistypaw padded slowly towards her mother. "nothing I'm fine" bravestar struggled to her paws but collapsed onto her side. "mother you need to tell me what's wrong with your shoulder" mistypaw meowed. "I hurt it seasons ago I'm fine" bravestar hissed in annoyance and got back up just to collapse again. "thistlepaw go get tinyleaf now" mistypaw yowled at her brother. mistypaw looked down at her mother.
"Tinyleaf" thistlepaw yowled as he tumbled into camp he had Tripped over bramble. "thistlepaw what's wrong" tinyleaf ran to the frightened apprentice. "somethings wrong with bravestar" he panted. "what's wrong with bravestar" tinyleaf meowed sternly. "her shoulder we were doing battle training and she collapsed" thistlepaw panted. "take me to her thistlepaw" tinyleaf meowed and he nods and took off.
Mistypaw looked up when she heard paw steps. tinyleaf jumped over thistlepaw and crouched at her sister's side. "bravestar look at me please" tinyleaf practicality begged her sister. bravestar opened her eyes a little bit and turned her head to tinyleaf. "tinyleaf its my time I'm going to join spiritclan" bravestar mumbled softly. "mother please don't go" mistypaw begged. "mistypaw your mother damaged her shoulder so badly that It caused a nasty infection in her shoulder it spread through her body" tinyleaf touches her nose to bravestar's cheek "I'm so sorry bravestar I tried to help" tinyleaf meowed softly in bravestar's ear and a long soft sigh came from bravestar. "wait didn't she have 4 lives left" thistlepaw squeaked. "wait she had 2 left she should have 1 left" tinyleaf meowed. "Or the infection was worst then we thought" mistypaw meowed then bravestar shot up and ran head first into tinyleaf. "ow" the sisters groaned and glared at each other. "mother your ok" thistlepaw meowed "a little infection can't hold me down" bravestar purred in amusement
Bravestar laid on skystone when she heard a loud roar. she got to her paws just as a huge badger tore through the barrier. Cats scattered around the camp the badger charged at a heavily pregnant novastorm who was to heavy with kits to move out of the way. bravestar jumped from skystone and thrusted herself between the badger and novastorm. she whipped her claws a crossed the Badgers face it roared in pain and rage and slashed its claws down the side of bravestar's neck leaving long gashes down her neck. bravestar yowled in pain and takes her claws across the Badgers nose it swung at bravestar and its claws slashed down bravestar's side and down her hip. bravestar lashed out once more and the badger took off howling in pain. bravestar staggered and collapsed as blood pooled around her. she knew this was her last life and was going to spiritclan now. she fought for her daughter and her grandchildren to live. bravestar looked at novastorm before she took her last struggling breath. the rise and fall of the great leaders chest faded away as she left to join spiritclan.
