Chapter Fifty-Nine
Song: Anybody — Burnaboy (Note, even though there's a time skip, coronavirus never happened in this fictional world)
*Unedited* (No, stop praying that Kofi did some zombie revival and he's coming back. Kofi DID NOT SURVIVE)
Kofi survived. It wasn't easy, it'd been a long recovery time and he had to be put in a medically induced coma, but he survived.
Have you ever felt like you're carrying the whole world on your shoulders, then someone suddenly comes and lifts it off your shoulders? That's how I felt. There were so many worse things going on in the world, but the only thing I could think about was him.
At first, I thought it was just the guilt of causing someone's death, but as time progressed, I realised that it wasn't. Thinking about Kofi never waking up from that medically induced coma had me unable to breath. The thought sent current racing through my body, shocking me at every nerve it hit.
When I saw on the news that it was safe for him to be removed from the coma, I breathed deeply for the first time in eight months. My heart suddenly began beating like it normally should. It felt like my blood could finally flow through my veins.
Those eight months had been hell, but it was finally over. His recovery though took a much longer time. It took five years before he was fine again. How fine though, it wasn't exactly clear.
Kofi's mental health and his body — due to the accident — had suffered extensive damage. He had been in a wheelchair ever since he'd been released from the hospital. According to my regular calls to Nathan and what I'd been seeing on the news, his mind had finally found a way to cope. Through dissociative amnesia.
Which meant that he wouldn't remember some of his most painful memories. Which probably means that he wouldn't remember what I did to him, or he wouldn't even remember me at all. Which is why I made the decision that after five years and eight months, I would finally go and see him.
It was a huge risk and even Nathan had warned me against it, but I couldn't continue living like nothing had happened. Especially, not when the whole world was against me.
It was very confusing and harsh, but beneficial — how things went down. Sitting in the middle of my self—owned penthouse flat in Osu, my mind went back to the past few years and how everything had eventually happened for my good.
The night I found out what happened to Kofi was one of the worst nights of my life. That feeling, thinking you're the cause of someone taking their own life, it's the worst feeling in the world. I don't wish for anyone to ever commit suicide, but blaming yourself for someone's suicide is something that happens to living people who can actually feel. The guilt almost drove me mad.
The hate from social media didn't help either. Every day, I felt like I was spiralling deeper and deeper into an endless black hole of grief and guilt. I was practically in shambles. A dead woman walking. Life didn't even feel worth living anymore. The thoughts that used to run through my mind were vicious.
"If I'd driven someone to taking their own life, then I didn't deserve to have a life either."
"Are you chickening out again?" Edinam asked, coming to sit beside me. She was still wearing her lab coat and she was holding a cluster of folders, glancing through them absentmindedly while biting into an apple.
"I'm still going to see him. I'm going tomorrow and I'm just trying to build some confidence," I said. My eyes wandered to the ceiling, where the neon lights above were casting a medley of beautiful colours on us. "Where are the boys?"
"They, like every normal human being at this time, are asleep. Elikem woke up to steal ice cream from the fridge though. I gave him a good spanking and sent him off to bed," she laughed.
"I never expected that angel to grow up and be such a hooligan. He doesn't listen," I shook my head, laughing. I didn't care that Elikem had grown up to be a stubborn child. I was glad that I was able to give him the childhood that I never had.
Edinam sighed and put the file beside her. She leaned back on the plush leather sofa and closed her eyes. "Oh Ellie, I'm so confused."
"Choose Nathan," I rolled my eyes. Edinam's problems seemed so incoherent next to mine. Imagine choosing a rapist over a good — slightly tainted, but good anyway — man. "The only thing Justus deserves is to be behind bars. I can't believe you're even considering him."
"It's not that easy. When I saw Justus the first time... I can't explain it. It was an instant attraction—"
"Yes, purely superficial. I promise, if you choose him, I'm going to file charges against him for drugging me."
Edinam shot me her puppy dog eyes. When Michael was arrested and the village was raided for his father's accomplices, all the prisoners had been transferred and their cases reviewed. Edinam begged me not to press charges against Justus. I was reluctant, but then I realised that I had nothing but my word. I didn't press charges because I wanted to make Edinam happy. I didn't press charges because I would've wasted time and money for a case I would've eventually lost. Money was exactly what I didn't have at the time.
But I didn't tell Edinam this because I liked to use the lie that I could easily put him behind bars to prevent her from choosing him over Nathan. I could — through illegal means — but I wasn't going to go down that road again.
Though I had to admit, Justus had shown a lot of growth. He and his sister had been stripped of their fortune, since his father had been arrested. Mr. Faye hadn't included Justus in the videos either, and when some of the accused pointed fingers at him, he'd turned around and snitched on them.
He and Kofi received presidential pardon for unearthing the whole crime syndicate and because they committed minor crimes; Kofi being a pimp and Justus being a bystander/accomplice. Mr. Faye had made the videos in a way to make it seem like Kofi was the mastermind behind the treachery against the syndicate. He'd received the public's love and sympathy due to his attempt on his life and exposing the syndicate.
Wolfgang was unfortunate. He had been sentenced to life in prison because of his important role in organ harvesting, even though he too hadn't been included in the videos. There were just too many witnesses and recordings of him on security cameras to let him go.
Nathan was shocked, finding out what his adoptive father's business entailed. He was so innocent. He thought it was just prostitution, and even then, he'd never participated in anything illegal.
"He didn't even get the chance to hurt you, and he said he wasn't even planning to. Plus, he's changed a lot. I spent a whole year ignoring him and turning him down, but he still waited and gave me the space I needed. I... I really like him Ellie."
"What about Nathan?"
"I like him too," she sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "I don't know what to do, I'm so confused."
I didn't want to be inconsiderate, but I wished I were in her shoes instead of mine. Her problems seemed far less complicated than mine were.
There was silence for a while. Her hands crept up slowly and covered her lips. That was her tell for when she wanted to say something that she wasn't confident saying.
"What is it?" I asked, rolling my eyes.
Before she could answer, Etornam strolled out of her bedroom, wearing a bra and itty-bitty shorts with socks. The girl didn't like to cover up especially when she was at home with us, and I found it so funny.
"There are kids in the house. What is wrong with you?" Edinam asked, her upper lip curled slightly with disdain.
Etornam shrugged. "The world outside is much worse. It'll teach them from a young age to not lust after half–naked women. By the way, I'm attending a funeral this weekend, which of my bikinis do you think I should wear? The red one is spicy, but I'm thinking of going with the traditional black. I need your opinions ladies," she plopped herself in–between us while we all laughed.
It all happened so fast. I didn't understand it myself. When Mr. Nutsugah, also known as my sperm donor's case was reviewed, he was set free because no one even knew the crime he committed. I wasn't going to let that happen, just in case he took advantage of another young girl's innocence to do unholy things to her.
I used my quickly growing fame, money and influence to track Etornam down. She'd become a beggar and was living in a slum, off the charity of drivers in traffic and occasionally sleeping with some of the men in the slum. When I saw her again, my hate for her instantly drained out of me and was replaced with pity.
She was pregnant again and was living in abject poverty. I took her in and took care of her. It took a lot of months, but she finally warmed up to me and I forgave her. I waited until she delivered her child, then I encouraged her to have Mr. Nutsugah arrested again. Of course, there was no evidence except my testament, and the judge and jury didn't think that was enough to have him arrested — especially since I'd not seen anything, but been told — so he was set free.
I was filthy rich by then, so I simply took the case to another judge. A corrupt one. I paid a lot of money to have my sperm donor ruled guilty. It was illegal, but it was his rightful place. That man did not deserve to be in a world filled with innocent, naïve little girls.
I then made sure that Etornam received all the help she needed to recover from everything that had happened to her. Her son was now best friends with Elikem, even though they weren't the same age. She'd changed a lot. Motherhood changed her. I was sceptical about letting her near Elikem after what she'd done to him, but she'd really changed. She loved him as much as she loved Selorm, her son.
I'd rescued Barbie too, but after living with us for a year, she decided to go back to her country, since there were too many bad memories here. She still keeps in touch with all of us, and we're all very close.
"Oh, by the way," Etornam said. "I know what Edinam did. Nathan asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes, even though she hasn't really chosen him over Justus."
Edinam lifted her palms and covered her eyes in shame. "It was all his fault. He's so adorable and such a gentleman. I just couldn't say no."
"That's on you," I poked her tummy, to which she recoiled. "He never pressured you or made you feel like you couldn't say no. That's all in your head."
"I'm sorry," she whined.
"Don't apologise to us. Apologise to that beautiful bright–eyed man. Since he's on the market now, can I buy him?" Etornam asked, wriggling her brows.
Edinam glared and shoved her. "He's not an object, and you can't be with him. I have feelings for him and you don't. Geez, one bastard isn't enough for you?"
We laughed again, but Etornam shoved her back. "Don't call my son a bastard."
"Technically, he is, and that's not an insult."
"I forgot we have an obnoxious doctor in the house," Etornam rolled her eyes.
"I'm just a resident," she smiled proudly, her eyes glinting. "When I was growing up — I was home–schooled — I was too smart for two of my classes, so I skipped one year of kindergarten and fourth grade. I'm practically one of the youngest residents at the hospital. It's scary."
If there was anything I was proud of these past few years, it was financing Edinam's dreams. I'd given up on my dreams for having an education because I didn't see the need anymore. Instead, I pumped money into organisations that would help girls like me.
After Edinam's parents were arrested, she was ready to settle down in marriage and depend on a man, since it was the way we'd all been raised and her Plan B had been taken out. I wasn't thinking about marriage, so I tried selling sweets and other things at the market, but nobody bought from me.
I was severely depressed, no one was buying from me and I was constantly receiving hate from all over social media. I had an epiphany when I finally had the guts to log onto my old Instagram account. My follower count had risen to twenty–thousand, but it was just full of haters. They had followed me to hate on me. Wasn't that ironic?
I had Edinam help me open bank accounts, and I began doing paid promotions for people. Edinam and I invested whatever money we got from that to buy me new clothes and makeup to make me look even better. I started taking and posting pictures on social media. People were slut shaming me, so I began dressing like a 'slut' because that's what they wanted to see. Funny how they hate you for it, yet masturbate to your pictures.
My follower count was at three hundred thousand when the first brand asked me to model for them. That was when we moved to the city. My follower count was rising steadily, and I started getting paid for advertisements on television. Very soon, I began advertising for international brands. Some apps paid me for posting on them, and through that, I started a clothing line and built my own small fortune.
My net worth was now a little above one million dollars, making me one of the richest influencers in the country. I still got a lot of hate that kept fuelling my depression and making me doubt my self–worth, but with help, I was getting better. It was a slow process and I didn't think I would ever get there without making peace with Kofi.
I didn't like the person I'd become. Sure, I was a hustler, but that didn't mean I had to become someone I was not. I hated going through my feed and seeing half–naked pictures. I was in the process of healing. I wouldn't clothe myself in a way I was uncomfortable with anymore.
I'd used my influence to make Etornam famous too, and even though she wasn't earning as much as me, she was also bringing a steady income to support herself and her child. Edinam was the only freeloader, apart from the children.
"So, enough about this boring nerd," Etornam pushed Edinam's head. "Tell me, are you going to see him tomorrow?" She asked me, her tone growing serious.
I nodded. "I will. I must do this. I'll never be completely okay until I do."
"Michael is getting out on parole tomorrow too," Edinam added. I saw the way Etornam's shoulders sagged upon the mention of his name. It made me remember their last encounter.
I rolled my eyes. "Which is not fair. He was an accomplice of his father. He was planning to take over the business before he got caught."
"I'm sorry but that was Justus' crime too," Etornam shrugged, tucking her legs underneath her.
"Justus did the right thing and betrayed those criminals. Michael did not. Don't put them in the same category," Edinam retorted.
Etornam sighed and rested her head on my shoulder. "Y—you don't have any feelings for him anymore, do you?" Etornam asked me, her eyes wide.
I observed her strangely, frowning when I saw that glint in her eyes. "No. This is enough. My girls can't keep going after ex–convicts. I won't allow it," I said firmly.
"Kofi isn't perfect either."
I sighed. "Kofi's story is entirely different. Few people have suffered the way he's suffered. I know that's not an excuse. No wait, it is. It is an excuse. People being terrible people is an effect of what kind of environment they grew up in, apart from psychopaths, sociopaths and others who are unfortunately born irreversibly evil. With an environmental adjustment and help from professionals, I believe he can change."
"So you've forgiven him?"
I nodded. "It's been a long and hard journey, but the demons are now cowering behind my light," I smiled. "All that's left is for him to forgive himself and me. That is if he remembers me."
"And if he doesn't? Are you going to tell him what he did and what you did?"
I shrugged. "I haven't thought that far. I guess I will. If he doesn't remember anyways, it will have no effect on him."
"But," Edinam turned to Etornam, "if you decide to go for Michael, you'll have to compete with Diamond. And they have a daughter, so your chances are slim."
Etornam folded her arms, curling herself into a ball. "I thought she'd left him. You're trying to tell me that she waited all these years?"
"She loves him," I scoffed. "I don't know what he feels for her, but I doubt it's love. Perhaps it's just lust, like it was for me. Isn't it ironic, how my parents were right from the beginning? He'd been filling my head with sweet lies, just to sleep with me. I'm glad he never got to taste my cherry."
"Yes, Kofi the mad man is the only one who has had that privilege," Etornam teased.
"Don't call him a mad man," I retorted, but we laughed anyway. "Speaking on parents," my tone lowered as I felt sadness take over me, "I didn't tell you two, but I found my mother."
"Really?" Edinam perked up. "How is she?"
"I wish I never did," I hissed.
Etornam bit her lip and looked down. "You've found out that she knew, haven't you?"
Edinam turned to her, eyes wide. "What?"
"My egg donor knew. She knew what my sperm donor was doing to Etornam but she didn't care because she said it took the pressure of consistent chores — apparently, he doesn't know how to please a woman, only himself — she had to perform every night. So she kept quiet and watched it happen. Till this day, she thinks she made the 'right' decision for her. I don't have any place for such people in my life, especially now that they're sucking up to me when I've made it."
"So..." Edinam paused, biting her lip, "you're... going to leave her?"
I glared at her. I hated how compassionate she was. Perhaps it was just part of the characteristics of a doctor. "She's working as a maid for a rich family. I'm going to send her money, but just so that she can take care of herself, not to live in luxury."
Etornam nodded. "That's even generous. Shut up Eddie."
Edinam closed her mouth.
"Well, we should go to bed because the boys have school tomorrow. Lord knows they'll sleep in if we don't wake them up and get them ready for school."
"You'd think Atsu and Tsey would be matured at their age. You thought wrong," Etornam said, shaking her head.
We laughed again, and retired to our plush, soft beds.
* * *
It was hard. Stepping out of the comfort of my air–conditioned Benz and walking down the pathway to Kofi's grandparents' enormous mansion. I felt like my heels were going to snap beneath me and then I'd fall into their pool and drown. It was hard, knowing that he might be somewhere behind one of the large windows, in his wheelchair. Watching me. The thought that he could've forgotten everything about me made my tummy turn.
If he had forgotten, that wouldn't have been so bad. It would make everything easier, if I had it inside me to tell him. If he hadn't forgotten and he'd fallen for someone else, I didn't know what I'd do. I refused to believe that he'd lost the feelings he had for me. Even if he didn't remember me, I'd rekindle the feelings. I promised myself that I would.
Nathan pulled open the double doors and gave me an uplifting smile. I wouldn't mind being related to this man. I was glad that he was finally Edinam's boyfriend. "If you had any idea how hard it was to get you here, you would be kissing my feet."
"I doubt it."
He laughed and stepped aside for me to enter. I waved my bodyguards away, motioning for them to wait beside the car.
"Does he remember me?" I asked, as we climbed the stairs to the floor above, my heart beating in rhythm with the noise my heels were making.
Nathan shrugged. "I've tried talking about you numerous times. He doesn't reply. He doesn't talk much anyway."
I looked at him, alarmed. "Why? I thought they said he was better."
"He is. He's happier, but that's just how he is. He's the quiet kind. I don't know if that is a permanent effect of the abuse he went through."
"He doesn't react to my name or pictures of me?"
Nathan bent his head and scratched his neck shyly. "I... don't show him your... pictures."
I nodded. "I understand."
"I didn't mean it like that."
"No, don't worry. I'm not offended. I understand, really."
We stopped in front of a large mahogany door. Nathan turned and pulled me into a comforting hug. I hugged him back, feeling as if the tension was draining out of me.
"Thank you so much. For everything," I said, turning my ear to his chest.
"Thank you for promoting me to your beautiful cousin. Did she tell you? She's mine now," he chuckled triumphantly.
I pulled away and slapped his chest lightly. "That was all you. I had nothing to do with it."
"Yeah right," he rolled his eyes. "I'll leave you now. Good luck," he tapped my shoulder before he left.
I inhaled and exhaled deeply. One hand went to the doorknob and turned, as I pushed the door open.
My breath hitched when I saw him. Darn, I was just looking at the back of his head, the rest of his body being obscured by his wheelchair. I dropped my purse unconsciously, my hands shaking beside me. At that moment, all I could do was pray that he'd forgotten everything. It'd help him understand me better.
He was facing the window. He was wearing a long–sleeved form hugging black shirt with black sweats. He was barefoot. His face looked neatly shaved from where I stood, but his hair had grown down to his shoulders. His curls were still sitting, making his hair puff around his face.
I stood there, trying to calm my heart, when he raised his hands and pulled his hair back into a ponytail. "You're not going to say anything?" He asked, his voice soft and smooth, yet as deep as it'd always been.
I tensed. It seemed as if all my muscles were clenching. I needed to sit. "Can I sit down?"
"I should let a complete stranger sit on my bed because my brother said we used to like each other in my past life? Sure," he chuckled.
The last burden had finally been lifted off my chest. I sighed inaudibly. My chest began to bubble with happiness as I sat down on the comfortable mattress. I smiled. "Turn around, please. I want to see you."
"Bold," he commented, a smile in his voice. He did. His hand went down and pushed the wheels on his chair, turning him to me. Immediately he saw me, his eyes widened. His eyes went down, then came up again. "Wow. You're gorgeous."
"I can't count how many times you've told me that," I smiled. "You said it when we met."
His soft, boyish smile faded as the corner of his lips turned down into a frown. "Nathan says I did some horrible things. I don't remember anything, but I'm so sorry. I'm a different person now," he said, sincerity oozing from his eyes.
I stared at him. Without thinking, I got up and knelt before him. He parted his thighs, allowing me to get close to him. Humans lie a lot, but their eyes never do. I used to think reading people's eyes was possible only in movies. I used to think that before that moment I knelt before him and looked deep into his green orbs. My hand reached out of its own accord. I reached for his cheek, but he caught my fingers in a vice–like grip. He released them seconds after, drawing his hand away.
"You do remember me and you can move your legs," I said slowly so as not to annoy him, and touched his knee lightly with my finger.
"It's psychological," he said. "My paralysis waist down. I don't know, I haven't moved them in a long while. I think... I think I just... you just—" he stopped and took a breath, shaking his head. "Why are you here?"
"We need to talk," I replied.
"You told me everything you thought about me already. If you came to remind me—"
"I came to apologise. I thought you'd have forgotten. I don't understand why you haven't."
"You don't understand how it works," he shook his head. "I didn't completely forget you, because not every minute we spent together hurt me. I remember that night. My brain made things easier on me by making the bad memories blurry or made them into short clips, rendering me incapable of feeling the pain they used to cause. It's a relief, really."
"So you don't remember exactly what I said?"
"No, not really. A little bit," he said, a small smile forming on his face.
I looked down, my eyes going to his bare toes. "I understand why I did what I did now. It took me just above five years, but I finally do. I love you Kofi," I looked up at him. He smiled. "I was hurt and still reeling from the ghosts of the past. I was confused. I didn't know what I was feeling."
"You don't love me," he said, smiling. "Can I touch you?"
I nodded.
His hand came up almost shakily and cupped my cheek. I closed my eyes, the warmth of his palm relaxing some of the tension in me. "You would've made me the happiest man alive if what you're saying was true."
"It is. Kofi, I've had five years to think about this. I'm sure about it."
"The same way you were sure that you loved Michael?"
I drew away from him sharply.
"I'm sorry. Come back, please," he whispered.
I sighed and did as he said. Both his hands came to cup my cheeks this time. "What you're feeling is guilt. You think you caused my suicide attempt."
"I did."
"You didn't. I've been suicidal for a long time," he laughed. "Just because you don't see any scars doesn't mean I wasn't."
"But I pushed you over the edge."
"I deserved it for being foolish enough to think there could be anything between us. I hurt you too much."
"I understand—"
"You see? Now you're trying to justify my disgusting actions. What you feel is either excessive guilt or Stockholm syndrome."
"Stockh— what the heck are you talking about? If it was that, it would've happened a long time ago, not five years after."
"Tell you what. Leave me alone, let me recover. Let all this pass. Then you can come back to me, if you really are in love with me."
"So you're just asking me to prolong the inevitable?"
"I know you don't love me," his hand caressed my face as he leaned forward. His legs wobbled as he got off the chair and crouched next to me. He leaned forward and touched our foreheads. "I really wish you did."
I edged my head closer till our noses were touching. "Do you love me?"
"No," he said without hesitation.
"That was... how do I say this? Disheartening."
"My mind is clearer than it's ever been. I know what I'm feeling for the first time in a long time. It's not love, but it could be. That's up to you."
"What?"
"I'm not going to let myself fall for you and then find out that you don't love me in the end. So I'll wait. If you come back to me, then I might fall, but only then," he shifted closer till our lips were just inches away. "Only then," he whispered sensuously, then he pulled away.
I nearly toppled over, catching myself at the last minute. He smiled, his hands on my shoulders as he used me for support to walk to his bed. I let him sit down before I sat between his legs. "I'm still just going to come back to you."
"I hope so," he said. He placed a kiss on my cheek and said, "Come, I want to take pictures with you. Let's break the internet."
"Kofi no. That place is filled with vile monsters. If they see us together, I'm just going to get more hate and you're going to be called a fool."
"I don't care. I just regained my mobility. I want to capture this moment."
"Fine, but you don't have to post it."
"I will do what I want."
"So will I. I'm not going to be in the picture with you."
He looked at me in a funny way. "I'll let you kiss me."
"Oh that was so low," I grinned. "Come on, let's take it near the pool."
And we did. We didn't read any of the comments after, knowing the storm we'd just brewed. It was so funny, thinking about what they were saying. Kofi and I kept laughing like a pair of idiots, attracting peculiar looks from the staff.
We ate together and funnily enough, he read a book to me. He claimed that it was his favourite and that he wanted to share it with someone. We spent the whole day together, always avoiding a shocked Nathan who was demanding to know how Kofi could walk. Kofi's grandparents had gone for a vacation in Spain.
Kofi talked about how much he missed Wolfgang and that he wished he could free him from prison, but there were too many testimonies against him, since he was most involved in the syndicate. I felt sorry for him, but he got what he deserved. What he helped support was despicable.
Then, Etornam texted me saying that Michael had come to the penthouse looking for me. He said he wanted to 'talk'. I would have to get a restraining order against him. It'd been five years and he had a child. I wanted nothing to do with him. Anyways, he saw Etornam and called her a lot of mean names that left her in tears and she was calling me so that I could comfort her.
I'd always been there when she needed me, but I didn't want to leave Kofi this time. I called and asked Edinam to help me out, but it turned out that she'd gone out with her other love interest that was not her boyfriend. She claimed they'd gone as 'friends' but I was afraid that she was jeopardising her relationship with Nate. I had to stop her before she did anything she'd regret.
My friends needed me. I wanted to be there for Kofi, but they needed me more. We were in his bedroom, on his sofa where he was holding me like he never wanted to let go. My ear was against his chest. I listened to his racing heart. It was the same speed as mine. "I've thought a lot about what you said."
"You have to leave, don't you?" He asked, deviating.
I nodded. "I must. I realised what you said might be true, so I'll stay away for as long as it takes to convince you and myself. Whenever you're ready, make my phone ring, okay?"
He nodded, planting a kiss on my forehead. He'd lied about the kiss he'd give me if I took the picture. I didn't complain because I knew it was simply self–preservation.
I was halfway through the door, when he suddenly rushed up behind me and hugged me from behind. He held me, inhaling my scent as he buried his head in the space between my shoulder and neck. I leaned into his embrace though I wondered how uncomfortable he was, having to bend to my height.
"I hope you come back to me," he said, his strong arms wrapped around my belly.
"I hope so too."

Whether she ends up with Kofi or not is up to you, but if she ends up discovering that she didn't really love Kofi, he would have gotten over her too. If she did love him, then they'd live happily ever after with mental illness, internet trolls, occasionally mentioning the bad things they did to each other whenever they fight, and troubled kids 😊 Sounds fun. But they'll be happy though 😉
Thank you all so much for sticking with me from Chapter One, even though I practically deleted the book and began it. Can you believe I've been writing this since 2018? (The reason why the book is set in 2018—2019) it was stuck on like 200 reads until I decided to get serious with it, and here we are at 10k and almost 2k votes.
Also, do you want spin—offs of the other girls' relationships, or are you done with these characters and their bull? (Reply please)
Thank you for everything! I love you all!
Don't forget to vote! 🌟
