Chapter Twenty-Four
THIRD POV
After a while of enjoying the peace of morning, Tom couldn't hold off the trip any longer. "Harry, precious, would you like to go to Diagon Alley today?" Harry's doe ears pricked upwards while a small frown flitted on his face. Eyes still closed, Harry stopped purring to answer. "Won't I need to conceal myself? Dumbledore'll probably have people out looking for me. I don't want to leave you..." A small whimper escaped from his mouth as Harry dug his suddenly-longer nails into Draco's shoulders. Draco winced, but softly cooed at the mustard-haired male. "No Harry, we won't let them take you, remember? We're going to protect you now and forever. But if we slip up and they do, we'll search without pause until we find you." Harry's claws relaxed a bit as he saw the way Draco's aura surrounded his, possessively protective. Draco smiled at the submissive's trust and gently picked up Harry's hand to see why his shoulders hurt, only to find that Harry had somehow morphed his fingernails into very sharp claws. Gently putting pressure on his shoulders, Draco sighed when they came back red. "Cher?" Severus was already hovering over his back, inspecting the puncture wounds intently. "Yes." Draco shivered at Severus' tone, though his whole body jerked when the vampire gently licked away his blood, sealing the cuts. Severus gave a low moan as he licked the divine lifeblood from his lips, smirking at Tom when he sensed his growing problem. Tom sighed and willed it away, but he smirked when he saw Draco looking flustered. Harry's tail flicked near Draco's stomach and now Tom knew why Harry looked awkward. He cackled and watched as a smirking Severus gently took a ravenette Harry away from a flushing Draco. "Not fair guys..." Draco let his bangs fall into his face as he turned away from them. "It is alright Draco, we're all mates here." Harry whined at the sad tinge to Draco's aura. The magenta hint slowly faded away, and Harry gently touched Severus' hands. Severus then put him down, allowing Harry to go over and hug Draco. "It's okay. I may not have had the problem, but I'm sure it's normal for guys our age. I guess I'm just a freak once again..." Harry sighed and relinquished the hug, stepping away a little. He squeaked in supposed when Tom swept him into a hug, playfully growling at him. "You're not a freak Harry. It hurts for me to hear you call yourself that. Those ruddy muggles are dead, thank Merlin, but if it would show you that you aren't a freak I would bring them back to life only to torture them for far longer. Please stop referring to yourself as such, okay?" Tom kissed Harry's forehead and hugged him tight, trying to portray his seriousness. Harry gazed at the beautiful mixture of blues in Tom's aura as he nodded. He wouldn't call himself a freak, he'd try his best. Tom smiled and kissed Harry's cheek before passing him off to Draco once more. Not liking the fact that his dominants were passing him around like a hot potato game he saw Dudley play as a kid, Harry decided to divert their attention. "So, what are we going to do about today?" Tom took a look at his watch and sighed in exasperation while Draco snickered, his past embarrassment forgiven and forgotten. "You'll have to wear a glamour is all. I have to get some ingredients from the apothecary as well, so this trip will work out just fine." Tom stood up with a flourish, helping Draco up as well. "Great. Harry, your new name will be Leo, and you'll be a cousin of Draco's that's just visiting for the summer holidays. Do you think you can do that?" Harry nodded, deftly pulling out his wand and casting a glamour over himself to resemble Draco with his high cheekbones, straight platinum-blonde hair, and gray eyes while putting away his antlers, doe ears, wings, and tail. Draco jumped up next to Harry for a quick test by Tom and Severus, whom both nodded their heads. As a quick afterthought, Tom set trackers on his mates, just in case. Harry noticed the light shooting at him, but was glad to notice it had a protective glow to it, and he correctly guessed that it was a tracking charm. Smiling wider, 'Leo' followed Draco to the floo fireplace in the meeting room before following Draco's lead and grabbing a bit of flour from a perfectly placed pot on the mantle and stating 'Diagon Alley' as he walked through. 'Leo' smiled as he emerged from the fireplace smoothly to stand next to his 'cousin'. Stepping over, he made room for Severus and Tom as they gracefully exited the flames. "Come, I think Gringotts will be our first stop." Severus took the lead as the crowds naturally parted before the imposing figure of a world-renowned potions professor. Tom smirked as Severus scowled at a passing female who looked a bit too interested in their group. As they neared Gringotts, 'Leo' remembered what the goblins did and couldn't help but feel immense gratitude towards the goblins for bringing him to his mates and away from his personal hellhole. Therefore, he bowed in great respect and gratitude to the goblin guards before he and his mates entered the magical building. Draco eyed the staring guards suspiciously, but Tom merely raised an eyebrow at 'Leo's behavior. Severus quickly lead them to a line near the back of the hall that had a few less people in it than the others. He silently stood in front of 'Leo', effectively blocking the view of the submissive that many goblins had. Tom stood behind him while Draco stood off towards the side with the offices, almost completely blocking 'Leo' from almost any goblin. 'Leo' marveled at how almost each aura of a person was different, while all of the goblins' were the same. Their essence was spiky and hard, though the color was of anger/negativity and truth while also holding a color of white and gold. They really were masterpieces each in their own way. 'Leo's thoughts drifted as he wondered what the two unknown colors could mean. Draco smiled down at his intrigued submissive, easily seeing that he was thinking deeply about something, most likely it was pertaining to the goblins. About fifteen minutes later, Tom was relieved that they had finally made it to the teller while Harry was still contemplating the light emotions. To his frustration, the goblins didn't give much away with their body language and speech. "Yes?" Hammerfist drawled, ignoring the wizard for his more important paperwork. "Good evening Teller Hammerfist. My party and I would like to go down to our vaults, if that is of order- we wish to remove some coin." Hammerfist looked at the wizard before him in curiosity, before his eyes were drawn to the little submissive they were trying to hide. His eyes widened slightly as he saw through the glamour and recognized the little one as 'Leo' saw more white replace the anger/negativity while gold replaced a tiny bit of truth. Hammerfist's face seemed to soften as he rang for Griphook. Severus and Tom suspected that Hammerfist had recognized 'Leo' for who he was, but Draco only took a small step closer to his 'cousin' in caution. Griphook approached the teller that had called him, and his annoyed mood evaporated when he saw 'Leo' and his mates. 'Leo' sensed the approaching goblin and turned, delighted to see Griphook. He was also pleased that he saw Griphook's aura change from a bloody red, gold, and anger to white and a little bit of gold- which knocked white down to happy or shocked. "Hello Lord Prince, Lord Slytherin, Lord Malfoy. Whom is your guest today?" Tom bowed his head and stepped forward slightly to address Griphook. "This is Leo Delecour. He is one of Lord Malfoy's distant family." Griphook smiled sinisterly, winking at 'Leo' as he did. "Of course. Follow me, my Lords."
