Chapter Twenty-One
Third POV Limited
As they reappeared in the meeting room of the manor, Draco chuckled evilly. He took off his 'mask' while walking over to a couch so he could put Harry down. Tom and Severus smirked as they undid their spells as well. Harry slumped into the cushions, crossing his arms. "I hate Dumbledore." Tom chuckled while Severus gently pet Harry's hair. "We all do, karus." Harry huffed and slumped lower. "I know, I just mean, couldn't we have done something? I want to rip him a new one." Draco chuckled, sitting next to Harry. "We could have, yes, but we didn't have that much time. No doubt he would have called the Order if we stayed to fight. Then Severus' cover would have also been blown." Harry pouted while Severus sat down and Draco pulled his submissive closer. "It still sucks though." Tom smirked in Harry's direction before the clock chimed. Tom glanced at its face and sighed. "We should rest now. We will most likely have a big day tomorrow as well, with this most recent event." Severus groaned and stood up, helping Harry and then Draco up as well. "Come on then. Harry, why don't you sleep in Draco's room tonight? Tom and I need to go over a few things about tomorrow and you look deadbeat tired." Harry sighed and nodded, wrapping his arms around Severus in a hug. "Thanks Sev, have a good night then. Good night Tom." Severus smirked at a suddenly tired Harry as he walked like a zombie behind Draco. Tom walked ahead while Severus slowly followed Harry, carefully watching his Adrenalin-crashed submissive just in case.
As Harry and Draco walked inside their room, Severus felt a warmth in his back pants pocket. Cursing in annoyance, Severus quickly swooped into he and his dominant's room. "He called." Tom instantly lost his warm demeanor and cast a few monitoring, tracking, and spying spells before hugging Severus. "Be careful. I'll be here when you come back. Try not to kill him, okay?" Severus chastely kissed Tom in an answer before he drifted from the room. Walking quickly, he arrived at the meeting room only to apparate away to Hogwarts' gate. Wasting no time, Severus used his vampire speed to blur through the courtyard and appear just within the heavy oak doors. He applied his customary scowl and reinforced his Occumlency barriers, as he slipped into the role of 'dungeon bat' Professor Snape. Stalking through the halls on his way to the Headmaster's Office, Severus took out the coin and checked the password, inwardly rolling his eyes at the taunt. Dumbledore never had grown accustomed to him being a vampire. Striding towards the gargoyle, Severus glared. "Blood Pops." The guardian leapt to the side and Severus walked up the winding staircase, loosing no small amount of speed. Upon reaching the door, Severus pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance, but dropped his hand to knock, receiving a joyous 'come in!' for his trouble. Prowling in, Severus quickly analyzed his surroundings and sneered. Dumbledore's office had been only altered slightly to fit the members of the order in this unexpected meeting. The desk and sickening, cushioned chairs were gone, replaced with a long mahogany table. At which Dumbledore was sitting at the head, a space left open for him to his left, Remus, Tonks, Molly, Arthur, Diggle, Jones, and Dung. To Dumbledore's right, Kingsley, Moody, Fletcher, Fred, George, Ronald, Hermione, and then Ginerva. Severus ignored all of them in turn to take his seat. Upon sitting, Dumbledore turned to him. "Severus, my dear boy, where have you been? You're rather late." Severus sneered as he straightened his robes. "I was making a rather fragile potion, thus it would have been foolish to put a stasis charm upon it. I would have needed to start anew." Dumbledore nodded, reclining back into his throne-like chair. "Ah, I see then. No need to worry my boy, that is quite alright. Though I must ask, have you been called recently?" Severus's sneer only deepened in response. "I shall take that as a negative, as I was afraid. You see, everyone, it seems that Harry was attacked a mere fifteen minutes ago." Gasps and interjections filled the room, but none louder than Molly Weasley. "WHAT?! Are you to say my son-in-law is in danger?! Albus! What are we doing here?! We must be out searching for him! He could be hurt! Or worse! He may be- Oooh..." Molly sat down with a thud, putting her hand to her forehead, as if woozy at the mere thought. Severus had a hard time believing people actually fell for this. He could smell that she wasn't really all that worried. The rest seemed just as worried, but Remus was suspiciously quiet. It looked like the werewolf had just gone face-to-face with a dementor, and lost. Severus felt slightly sorry for him- maybe Harry would enjoy a visit to Lupin for his birthday? Severus told himself he would bring it up with Tom later. "Now Molly, if that were the case, we would have already found him. No, it seems old Tom has finally captured Harry." Molly's face grew deathly pale, along with the rest of the table, except Dumbledore, Moody, and Severus, of course. Arthur stared at Dumbledore grimly, knowing there was more. "What did you see, Headmaster?" Dumbledore sighed and tossed a lemon drop into his mouth in sadness. "I was alerted by the wards around Hary's house that a malevolent presence was trying to get in. Dropping what I was doing, I rushed over to try to stop it. Sadly, it seems I had been too late. Just as I arrived, Tom and two death eaters disapparated with Harry unconscious on one's shoulder. Inspecting the scene, I saw that they had killed Harry's relatives as well." Severus suddenly smelt an odd chemical, one he had barely used in his profession- glycerine. It was a muggle component, but it worked well in a few 'for show' potions. Tears were dripping from Hermione, Ginerva, and Molly's eyes, so that must have been where it was coming from. Severus sneered at them, disgusted with how far they went in acting. Did they every actually show their true emotions openly? "Snape, where are they keeping Harry?" Severus' eyes flashed red in anger as he stared at the youngest, most moronic Weasley of them all. "And how should I know, Weasley? I had no foreknowledge of this attack." In obvious worry, Hermione tried to pull Ronald down, but failed as he glared more pointedly at Severus. "Then why don't you just... I don't know, tap your dark mark and appear by your lord?" Severus couldn't believe the gall of this boy, and he only had one more year to get his priorities straight. Severus was glad he didn't have this imbecilic boy in his N.E.W.T.S. potions class. "'Tap my dark mark?' I would have hoped you had lost this behavior by your eighth year, Weasley, but it appears I was wrong. Ten points from Gryffindor for rude behavior and ten more for stupidity, as soon as the term starts." Hermione gasped while Ginerva jumped to her feet. "You can't do that Professor!" Severus turned his sneer over to her. "Oh? And what might you know of my rights as a teacher in this building?" Dumbledore finally seemed to tell that this was a waste of time as Ginerva spluttered for an answer. "Now Severus, I'm sure this is not a big enough problem to deduct points before the school year even starts. If you would remove them?" Severus just couldn't wipe the sneer from his voice. "It is the only way to make them see what they are doing is wrong. We cannot have children running around Hogwarts like it's their own home. They need to learn to respect its walls and all of the staff inside of it." Dumbledore sighed and nodded, a sorrowful air about him. Severus felt like scoffing at it all, but he only reinforced his mental barriers and forged on with the meeting. "When you do meet, where is it located?" Severus hoped he wasn't blowing the cover of his mates, if so, he was screwed. "I'm not sure. We always are pulled directly into the meeting room, and unable to look outside. It is most definitely a manor, but I couldn't exactly say whose. There are no family portraits or discerning heirlooms." Ron seemed to deflate in his chair as he slumped over the table. "I bet it's Malfoy." Dumbledore seemed to hear the comment Severus heard as well. "Be as it may, Mr. Weasley, we cannot put accusations on anyone just because. We will need to find a way to figure out which Family the manor belongs to specifically. Severus, when you are called, come to me. I will find a tracking device to get through the probably-powerful wards. Everyone one else, thank you for coming, and you are dismissed." As everyone stood up to leave, stretching and re-straightening their robes, Dumbledore stood and said his final piece. "When we meet again, I hope we will have a way to find Harry. Keep you eyes peeled for him though, they may slip up and allow Harry to escape. Let us hope he is not in any grave danger."
