I was wondering around the forest, it was snowing. My fingers are freezing and my nose was red along with my cheeks, I soon came across the old fallen building that I used to climb when I was younger. It was covered in snow as I took a closer look I saw someone on top of a ledge standing there, I walked a bit closer and noticed the figure was a female. I wanted to know who it was and to do so I had to do a bit of parkour. I climbed up a bit of a piller then pushed off and grabbed onto a ledge that was on another piller and pulled myself up then I jumped to another part and climbed up a bit to where the girl was standing
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" I asked in a slightly demanding tone
"don't you remember? We used to come and hang out here" she replied to my question
"w-what? Only me and Ta-..." I said a bit confused
"yeah, you and me" she finished
"Talyn.." I looked at her with slight disbelief in my voice
"its been for ever since I've seen you" I added
"yeah" she scoffed "I thought you died, after all you were the one that left"
"i-.. I know and I'm sorry about that. I truly am" I replied
"anyway... where have you been?" we both said at the same time which caused us to chuckle
"Ladies go first" I said politely
"yeah so start talkin'." She jokes
"wow.. I see how it is" I laugh slightly
"but yeah" she chuckles "I've been going to college and I have a job now to which helps me pay for rent and classes" she admitted
"that's good to hear, what job do you have and what classes are you taking?" I ask her
"im taking film, tech and a few other boring classes" she responds
"hmm film, that's co-" she cuts me off
"what have you been doing?" she says eagerly
"well...." I try to think of excuse but nothing comes to mind
" 'well..' what? What do you do?" she presses the subject
"well... to be honest. I know its gonna sound dumb but I don't really have a job.. I just travel. A lot at that" I admit slightly
"well, if you travel.. you must have a job of some sorts. I mean to pay for all the flights or something right?" she asks
"yeah.. I guess so. And I mean I do have 'jobs' but their more like what you said temporary jobs so I can get money" I add
"so what are like the basic temporary jobs that you do then?" she asks
"ehh.. anything that gets me by, so.. maybe like building something or teaching stuff..." I talk knowing im lying and not telling her the truth
"oh, ok I get it. So basically something that's easy to leave from and it pays well or just enough to buy things that are ok then?" she said putting the clues together
"yeah, basically" I respond and she chuckles lightly
"that was a lot of 'Basically's dude" she says and looks at me
"yeah, 'basically'' I say and look at her. We both start laughing hard
By now we're both sitting down on the ledge with snow around us, our nose, cheeks and ears red from the cold. I looked around and I realized how much I missed this, how much I missed sitting here and I missed talking with Talyn.
The snow was falling and there was a slight breeze with it, the trees and their leafs were swaying in the wind. The leafs brushing up against each other and how the wind was hitting them, they made a howling sound. I sigh.
"are you ok?" Talyn asked me still looking forward
"I.. yeah. Y-yeah I'm fine" I lied

A few hours went by and Talyn got up
"I gotta go. Sorry see ya' later"
