"Hey Lee...." I call out to Leena, who's in the kitchen.

"Yeah?"

"We have tryouts today." I look back at the try-out schedule that's on Google Classroom.

"Flip!" She drops her pancake.

"Five second roll, suckers!" Walker smirks; his mouth full with pancake.

"Ew, that's the mouth you're going to be kissing, Evelyn." Leena says.

"Ummm no." I back up.

Walker raises his eyebrow at the thought.

Hmmmmmm so she DOES like me......interesting.

"Man that pancake was actually amazing" I say.

"Evelyn made them." Leena smiles.

"They were great, Morris, but maybe next time, put chocolate chips in them." I blink at Evelyn.

"What do you mean next time, Scobell?" She has a pink tint on her cheeks.

"Isn't that what you said last time??" I roll my eyes.

"Got it!!!" I yell as I dive to hit the ball.

I smile as it hits the floor on the other side of the net.

"I'm serving!!" Leena shouts.

I wipe my palms on my spandex.

The ball goes over and hits the floor.

Alyinn, Ayla, Faith, Finn, and I go to high five her after we chant "All A's! Hoorah!" 

She serves again. This time, Kinn bumps it to Lydia and spikes it over the net.

"Mine!" I pancake out.

It drops to the ground.

"Let's grab water." I tell Lee.

She nods and follows me.

"My water's hot." She complains.

"You want some of mine??" I push it towards her.

"Thanks." She takes a swig.

"Jeez girl!! You drank it all!" I look into the empty bottle.

"Sorry!!"

I scoff and pat her on the head.

I was at the park when my phone beeped.

I smile as I get off the swings.

"Morris!!!!!!" I call to the brunette.
