Bar War (Andy)

   A special request for @ArynWells

Going to a bar wasn't really my thing. I was used to curling up on the sofa with some quality popcorn and an adventure movie. However, I had a horrible fight with my roommate and needed some space. I ordered a beer and took a few sips. Who could order water in a place like this?

A few motorcycle gangs were in the corner, shady deals were being made in the women's bathroom, and worst of all, guys were leeching onto women like mosquitos. One man had dared to come up to me. He was a smoker judging by his yellow teeth and thinning hair. His eyes were bloodshot, and his clothes were stained with who knows what.

"Whatcha drinkin doll?" he raspy southern voice spoke.

I ignored him and stared at the old cat clock on the wall, waiting for the perfect time to leave.

"I asked ya a question," he touched me.

I slapped his hand away, "No."

"So ya aren't deaf," he smiled, "I like my girls to hear me."

He started to touch me again. I continued to slap his hand away. I looked around to see if anyone was watching. No one seemed to want to help me. I wanted to leave, but I was not going to let this guy force me out of place like my roommate did.

"She said no," a voice came from behind me, "Go."

"Oh yea?" he drunkenly said, "What 're ya gonna do 'bout it?"

"This!" the stranger shoved him.

"Hell naw!" he punched him in the face.

They wrestled to the ground. I sat there awkwardly, not really knowing what to do. I never had guys fight over me. No one else was looking, so I let it continue. The stranger threw a punch at the drunk and pinned him. He kept punching him in the face. One of the biker gangs noticed.

"We having a fight?" he kicked another guy close to him.

The stranger took a look around and lept off the drunk. He grabbed my hand and rushed me out of the bar.

"I'm Andy. Are you okay?" asked Andy.

"Y-yeah," I stuttered.

I got a decent look at his face under the streetlight. He had a few cuts and bruises, but that did not distract from his facial features. He had icy blue eyes, pale skin, and medium length black hair. He had tattoos and piercings, but those things never bothered me. He had strong cheekbones and a defined jaw line. He was absolutely stunning.

"Thanks...why did you help me?" I could not help but stare into his eyes.

Love at first sight surely doesn't exist, right?

"Well," he scratched the back of his head, "I have seen that guy a few times. He hits on girls and they rejected him immediately. You looked depressed already. I didn't want him to get you down even more."

I sighed, "Yeah. I got into a fight with my roommate."

He looked at my blushing cheeks, "Oh, I guess my instinct were right. What's your name?"

"Aryn," I found it only fair since he told me his name.

"I hope you don't find this creepy," he smiled, "standing out here in the dark."

"I don't mind," I replied, "I trust you."

Andy said, "Glad to know. So, I hope you don't mind me flirting."

"No," I laughed, "Kicking a drunk man's ass is a pretty great pick up line."

"I suppose so," he chuckled.

"So what do you do Andy?" I wanted to keep the conversation going.

"I'm in a band. Ever heard of Black Veil Brides?" he said.

"A little. I think my roommate has talked about you guys once or twice," I lied.

She was completely obsessed with them. Why would I tell him that though? Why ruin my only chance with a handsome rockstar? I couldn't wait to rub this in her face.

"What about you?" he questioned.

"Oh, I'm a writer hoping to get somewhere," I started to mess with my hair.

He winked, "Maybe you could help us write some songs sometime? You could earn a little money, and we could see each other again."

"I think I might enjoy that," I teased.

"You do kind of owe me a favor. I did just earn a bunch of battle scars for you," he pointed to the cut on his forehead.

"Battle scars? What? You need mommy to kiss them for you," I said in a baby voice.

"No," he stepped closer, "I think you'll be fine."

He bent down to kiss me on the lips. I'm not sure why, but I kissed him back. His lips were so soft and smooth. He grabbed my waist to pull me closer; I wrapped my arms around his neck. We eventually let go, panting for breath.

"I don't think that's ever happened to me before," I grinned.

"What? An amazing kiss," he hugged me.

"No!" I teased him, "I've never had so much tongue before!"

"Oh c'mon," he furrowed his brow, "That was true love's kiss."

I winked at him, "Maybe, we'll see."
