Doubt (Andy)
Dedicated to @ellemu152
This part is the third part in a series. The first two are Peakaboo! and I See You. I would also like the take this time to tell you all about a one shot I posted called Comatose Chimera. I made it for a fanfiction contest and would appreciate some feedback and criticism. It is an Andy Biersack one shot. Thank you all so much for enjoying my fanfiction and enjoy this one!
"Get back here!" I shouted at my oldest daughter.
My husband rubbed my arm gently, "Oh let her go play. What is she going to do? Jump the fence? It's her fourth birthday. Let her have a little fun."
"Ugh. Fine," I sighed, "I'm going to go check on Lindsey."
"I'm going to go play with Tess," he lifted himself off the chair, "Could you get some water for me after you check on Lindsey?"
"Sure and don't be too rough," I smiled as I walked inside the house.
I strolled through the air conditioned house to the back room. I opened the door and shut it softly. Lindsey was still napping peacefully. I silently thanked any God that was out there. I turned around to leave and that was when she started crying.
"You little booger," I glared at her.
I picked her up out of her crib and started walking around the room patting her back, "Is that what you want?"
She still continued to cry. I felted the bottom of her diaper, "Oh so that is what's bothering you."
I set her down on the changing table and took off her diaper. I gagged and threw the use diaper away. I pulled out a clean and fresh one from a drawer and put it on her. Andy so owed me one. Lindsey stopped her crying and with her stubby baby arms pointed to the crib.
I used my baby voice, "You sleepy little girl?"
I gently placed her body in her crib and sneaked quietly out of the room. I went to the fridge to go get Andy's bottle of water. As I closed the door, I took a moment to look at Tess's artwork. She loved to draw and write; she was a creative child and Andy encouraged that. However, I grew worried because she never focused on school. All she wanted was to draw and look out the window. I tried to talk to Andy about it, but all he replied with was she's just a kid. I understood that; I just wanted her to grow up and accomplish something. I never accomplished much; I didn't want her to be like me.
I sighed and leaned against the fridge, "Just don't make the same mistakes I did."
Outside the kitchen window, Andy was chasing Tess around the yard. She threw up her arms in surrender and he picked her up. He threw her up in the air and she moved her arms like she was flying. I giggled and ran my fingers through my hair.

The rest of the afternoon was filled with childish screaming and me giving Andy unpleasant looks. He just shrugged and invited me to join them.
"I'm good," I would shout each time.
Eventually, he dragged Tess inside. We had her blow out the candles on her chocolate cake. She jumped up and down waiting for us to cut her a piece. Andy cut the slice a little big; I stared at him and then the cake.
"It's her birthday," he whispered.
I grinned at how much he cared about making Tess happy, "Sure. You are right."
Andy smiled and kissed me on the lips.
"Ewww," Tess groaned as she sat on the floor in front of the TV.
Andy and I just shook our heads.
"I'm just going to wait until her teenage years and do the same thing to her," I said.
Andy scowled, "No boys are going near her."
~~~
I finished tucking Tess in and checking on Lindsey. Andy and I giggled as we finally had some alone time. He hungrily kissed my lips.
"You still taste like cake," he said.
"It's a good taste though, right?" I flirted.
He smirked, "Yeah. It's not the only good taste you have."
"Oh stop it," I laughed.
We stopped kissing and hopped into bed. Andy wrapped his arm around me and asked, "Why are you so hard on Tess?"
"I-I just want her to be the best she can be," I felt embarrassed.
"There's gotta be more to it than that," he looked into my eyes.
I decided to finally tell him, "She loves to draw and write. I'm just afraid that is all she will want to do. I want her to be able to accomplish all her goals easily by getting a good education. I know she is four. She has her whole life to go. I remember not taking school seriously. One of the only reasons I did not stay at my parents' home after school was because CC took care of me. I'm also lucky I met you. Who knows what I would be doing if I hadn't? Tess would not have had such a great father."
"Oh Elle," he hugged me, "Tess will be just fine. She has us and I can tell she is a fighter. I have bruises to prove it. Both of our girls will do whatever they want to do. If she needs help we just need to help her. If we don't give up, she won't give up."
"I hope your right," I said.
He kissed my neck, "You know I always am."
I raised my eyebrow.
"For the most part?"
I continued to glare at him.
"Okay okay. You are right most of the time."
I smirked and snuggled back into his chest. I felt like for the first time I could actually get some sleep. Suddenly, Lindsey's cries erupted from her room.
I said to Andy, "You owe me one."
