Three

~Quinn POV~
The clock's alarm went off at 3am, and I turned it off, shocked at what I was wearing. My mask was still on, it was the only reason I wasn't panicking. "What happened?"

"Ugh, what time is it?" Torres lifted his head, "3? Are you crazy? We don't have a mission, why are you up at 3?"

"Where's my boots?" I asked, flipping on the lights. Torres groaned, hiding under the covers, one hand coming out to point under my bed. "Why are they there?"

"You don't remember?" He asked, pulling down the covers, and sitting up. "You had a panick attack, and couldn't breath, I took a lot of shït off you."

"You what?" I snatched my boots, putting them on quickly. I did remember a little from last night. Standing, I snatched my gloves, and glanced at the exposed tattoo. It all came back. I'd told him everything!

"Just don't tell anyone."

A sultry grin formed on his face, "That I undressed a captain on my first night." I glared, but was happy that was all he would say. He burst into laughter at the look. "I won't."

"Be ready in 10, we're hitting the obstacle course, then the indoor range."

He groaned again, a sound I was sure he wouldn't make if I was his superior. "Get ready, or I'll tell the Colonel." He stood immediately, grabbing his pants.

He followed me out to the yards, dressed again in the basic uniform while I was in all black. I had left my tactical vest behind, it would be difficult to wear for the obstacle course, and I didn't think Torres would shoot me after last night.

Each yard held a different course, but the most difficult one was my favorite. "Best time gets breakfast," I challenged, taking off, and scaling the first wall.

Cheater!" I heard him scream, but I was already over the wall.

Torres was fast, he finished every obstacle with ease. But at 6' 6" and with longer legs, I still pulled ahead on the rope swing, the bridges, and nearly everything else. Torres' advantage came in the tunnel crawl. Where long legs and a large frame was outpaced by a leaner build.

He waited outside my tunnel, leaning down with his head pokes inside. "Doing ok?" He teased.

"Fück off." I growled, squeezing myself to get through.

He pulled back with a chuckle, but offered me a hand to take to help me up. "Why did you stop?" I panted, a little winded from the tunnel.

"Never leave a soldier behind," he said. "Besides, you'd have won if you hadn't gotten stuck.

I stood, and we glanced at each other before we both took off for the finish line.
