Okay, maybe a little background...

When I was in high school I went camping with my friend, her family and their friends. The friends had a son, and although we didn't share a tent, as Travis and Lacey did, we did share a kiss in a tent, in the dark.

One day I remembered that kiss and thought it would make a great scene for some kind of story. I thought about using it in my Daydream Dating story, but decided, nah. Little by little it evolved into Camping With Travis and the whole Youtube love story was born.

The second I decided to add the media and fake texts and tweets, I had to start writing it, and posted the first part an hour later. So here we are, the real end. And endings are sad.
