A/N: Ending

I'm going to miss my Markimash, but it continues on with smoshfangirl82 's book Adopted by Markimash. I just know it isn't the same, because our writing styles are different. (Layla's in that book too! Any of Layla's P.O.V is written by me, in case you needed to know.)
I was going to do a sequel, but I'm having trouble writing. But, who knows. Maybe I'll put out the sequel. I'll tell you if I do.

---

So, to let you all know I'm writing a new Markimash story about Detective Aaron and Reporter Mark because that's fun, and I need some beta readers so you're welcome to volunteer! And I'll send a credit you way.

As a beta reader I really need you to:

- Point out any spelling/grammar mistakes you notice.

- Continuity errors (Errors such as if I have a window open one way it can't be open the other-way in the next scene)

- Lack of or missing details (Since I'm know I'm way better at dialogue then description, I may accidentally miss crucial details or I might not describe it at all. If you need a bit more description to fit into the scene do say so, and I'll add more.)

- Point of View (This is another one I struggle with since I write third person, but I write third person from one person's point of view so remind me if I accidentally swap to someone else.)

- Cliff-Hangers/Interests (This one's simple, did or did I not leave on a cliff hanger, or had you lost interest part of the way through? I need to keep it entertaining and if you're not interested then I need to work on it a bit more.

- Characterization (Of course, this is my own work of fiction, but do I remain true to the character's core? This can be harder in an AU such as mine, but it also means do my characters act the same way throughout the book or if they had a change that should affect their personality but didn't.

Keep in mind you don't have to pay attention to all these details, just some. One person might focus solely on characterization while someone else might do spelling and grammar, or we might have five people doing details, or we might have two doing everything. Focus on your strengths and remember that you're beta readers, so it's still your job to have fun, you don't need to bring out your inner editor. If you notice something is wrong when doing a quick read, that's perfectly fine too.
