Pizza Splatter
Yami's P.O.V.
I yawned, waking up. And then I blushed. Did I fall asleep on Mark?
"Mark?" I asked and heard his gentle sleeping in reply. I smiled as I listened to his quiet breathing. I could stay like this forever, but then I felt him waking.
"Aaron... Did I fall asleep on you?" He asked an I gave a soft laugh.
"I think we fell asleep on each over. That's what friends are for, right?" I asked. I just don't understand why my stomach tightened at the word 'friend'. That's what we were right, friends?
"Pizza time! This time I got a whole pizza for you!" The voice called out and a pizza dropped down, landing on our heads. We laughed as sauce slithered down, and Mark removed the pizza. We stop leaning on each over, instead turning to face each over as Mark tried to split the pizza more evenly.
"This isn't working." He laughed, handing over the larger half to me. We started eating, laughing and joking happily. Like friends.
"I wonder how Jess is doing." I said, my mind only just thinking about Jess. I didn't realize how far from her Mark actually took me.
"Yeah..." Mark said and I watched him turn away. I smiled at him confused as I finished eating, silent. Did I say something to upset Mark? I wouldn't want to.
"Hey Mark, are you okay?" I asked, trying to keep worry out of my voice. But I knew I failed, I could hear it as it floated to my ears.
"Oh. Yeah Aaron. It's fine." Mark said, but he still didn't turn to face me, so instead I crawled over to face him.
"You're not okay. What's wrong?" I asked again and Mark glared up at me, his eyes angry. Red eyes, like from the dream. But then it went away.
"Nothing's wrong Aaron. I'm fine, sorry if I'm worrying you."
"O... okay." I said, unsure if I should be frightened or more comforting. So I backed off and started my favourite activity down here. Counting the bricks.
