okay so challenge time! It's not like an official contest or challenge or anything, this ones just for fun so join in if you wanna.
So basically I'll write a random short story at the end of which I will ask one question that each of you must answer honestly and specifically. The winner gets reads, votes and comments on all their books from me!
So let's begin:

The summer breeze blew at the back on my neck tingling as it iced all the droplets of sweat that laced my neck and plastered my hair to my face. I sighed as my wiped the back of my hand over my head once more, annoyed at the blazing heat squinting at the sun that glared down upon me. Sweat stains decorated my t-shirt in various places making me slightly disgusted and in need of a nice cold shower to refresh my senses.
I missed the air conditioned lobby of my friend's apartment lobby as I exited onto the baking hot street that grilled me in the afternoon heat. I was just walking back home from my friend's place, trying to make my pace a little faster to escape the summer heat. I casually shoved my hands into my pockets and strode down the street regretting my decision of carrying any cap or sunglasses with me for protection. My mom calls me part vampire for always being indoors, rarely experiencing daytime and wincing every time she opens the curtains in my room but that's as far as it goes. I'm vegan by choice and blood is a total no- no.
My ears were getting slightly bored at the absence of my beloved earphones, that I had somehow forgotten despite carrying it almost everywhere with me. I felt the sun pressing down upon me like a thousand dumbbells weighing me down as I waited for the signal to turn green allowing me to cross. While waiting as I looked around to observe my surroundings, from the corner of my eyes I spotted a couple of gang members rounding the corner and internally prayed for the signal to turn green faster. The sight of them just meant trouble and the weather was already bad enough I did not want to deal with them right now.
Unfortunately fate loved going against my wishes as the ringleader of the group caught my sight and I internally groaned and looked elsewhere crossing my fingers hoping those desperate people didn't see me. As I mentioned, fate wasn't on my side. The leader of the group, dressed in tight denim jeans and a ripped denim jacket stared down at me and puckered up her lips letting out a pretty loud wolf whistle at me followed by the words, "That's a ten y'all" making me internally cringe.
The only reason I knew it was directed at me was because the street was deserted except for the five of us, out of which four of whom were part of the gang looking at me just as eagerly. I rolled my eyes and thanked the lord when the signal turned green as I almost jogged my way across and ran in the direction of my house as fast as my legs could pump energy into my heart. Adrenaline barrelled into my chest as my nerves raced inside me. I hated panting in this weather because not only did it leave me exhausted but the sweat made me smell terribly. To top it off, my mouth tasted like stale blue cheese and I hated that sensation, it happened every time I over exhausted myself with a lot of exercise or tedious work.
I slammed the door shut behind me and struggled to catch my breath as I leant against the door frame and slowly slid down to the floor in exhaustion. After a good five minutes of just remaining in the same position, I got myself up and checked the windows to make sure there was no sign of them pursuing me. Sighing in relief I went and filled myself three glasses of water that I chugged down spilling it all over my t-shirt and chin as it dribbled down, I didn't care. I hurried into the water and splashed some refreshing cold water onto my face before getting my phone, flopping on to the couch and telling my friend all about it as I kept the television on so that I didn't feel lonely. I liked keeping the television on as background noise so that I didn't feel too lonely as I switched between looking at it and my phone.
After settling on one channel to watch, I stood up and grabbed some ice cream before settling back down onto the same position and enjoying the rest of the afternoon watching t.v. I sighed and relaxed back into my reclining chair, this was literally the best way to enjoy my summer vacation.
