I was feeling a bit well enough to go to school today.
I saw Austin at the school gate, holding something behind his back.
"Hi Stella!" He grinned when he saw me come through the gate.
"Hey Austin!" I smiled. He pulled his hand out from behind his back and gave me a bouquet of red roses and a cupcake with icing in the shape of a loveheart. I gasped.
"Thanks Austin!" I smiled, he was so kind!
I got a present out of my bag and gave him a packet of chocolates I bought from the shops.
"Happy Valentine's Day!" We both said and laughed.
After school Liam ran up to me and gave me a slightly scrunched up looking piece of paper.
It had messy writing that said:
Happy Valentine's Day!

"Thanks Liam." I said, trying to be polite.
"So do you forgive me?" He asked.
"No." I said and began walking home.
