CelestialCandle ... May Winner

This competition was the largest we have ever had here at the Pub and had the largest number of Poets and Poems that we have ever seen in a competition here.

We want to thank everyone for making it such a success.

It has been a very unique competition and a learning experience for us here at the Pub as well, as we were forced into a situation to make a decision about the winner of the competition.

We apologize to those involved in this, but to be fair to all, we had to bring in a new blanket rule for competitions such as these.

An explanation of the new rule will be at the end of this page.

New rule for competitions with weekly or biweekly challenges.

In the case of multiple submission competitions.

Those competitions that have a weekly or biweekly challenge within the competition itself.

Where each section of the competition is judged or voted on separately and then combined to produce a final winner.

To be considered for the competition winner, Poets have to enter all phases of the competition.

Example

If it is a 2 part competition, Poets have to enter both parts of the competition to be considered.

If it is a 3 or 4 part competition, the same rule applies. To be considered for the winner of the competition, the Poet must enter all phases of the competition.

All Pubbers are welcome to compete in every competition and it is not mandatory that you enter all phases of the competition.

But to be declared a winner, you have to enter all phases.

If, in the event that a partial entry does win, an honourable mention will be given to that Poet.
