i think i will write a novel, the greatest story ever told

of damsels in distress and heroes, oh so bold

of fire breathing dragons and aliens from afar

and hoards of invading fire ants and sleek racing cars 

of sailing ships and pirates and journeys to the moon

of people poor and destitute and those born with a silver spoon

of chain gangs and prisons and dark chocolate factories

of rainbows and unicorns and man eating deciduous trees

of Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, but not the Kardashians

of cops and robbers and good and evil, but not the Kardashians

Of dinosaurs and hairy beasts

of trolls and witches and smurfs

of raging rivers and waterfalls

and making purple astro turf

Nah ...

on second thought ... it would be too boring
