A ripple in a never ending ocean of waves

No one notices it among the mightier forces

A small patch of blue in a sky of darkness

That's hidden behind a wall of uncertainty

A flower sprouts under a blanket of leaves

It's beauty not realized under the mask

A candle light flickering amongst shadows

Who steal the show, so easily morphed

A single tear rolling down bright cheeks

Unnoticed on such a gleaming surface

Scars run across hands so soft and caring

Not felt by those who only seek many

A single loving voice overpowered by hate

Booming from the dark voices of many

If you don't believe these souls exist

Then you haven't noticed me.
