He restores antique furniture with a loving heart, reliving the glory days of each piece as he laboriously works on it.

Nothing is replaced without being given every possible chance for the damaged section to be revived and renewed.

It near breaks his heart when he must admit defeat.

But then, at those sad times when no salvation is possible, he devotes himself to faithful reproduction, and such is his patience and skill, it's impossible to find the repair when he's done.

His creed demands he "... not try to create something new, but honor the integrity of what already exists."
