living in the upper class of Gangnam in Seoul Korea, wasn't always the perfect life of breakfast in bed and designer clothing. Coming from a wealthy line of business owners had its perks, although growing up with an overprotective farther made life in the upper class not so enjoyable.

My friends would brag about the clubs, the gossip and the boys whilst I was forced to keep up with my school work and represent the Park family name. Which meant no clubs, no gossip and certainly no boys.

"Good morning Miss Hana, how was your sleep?" Lynn, our family maid asked as I lazily dragged my feet across the cold kitchen tiles. It was early in the morning, almost too early for my brain to fully function.

"It was okay, couldn't really get to sleep though" I replied with a yawn sitting up on the tall bar stools as Lynn slid me a plate of scrambled eggs on toast. The smell was heavily and I felt my stomach instantly grumble.

"And why is that, was there something on your mind?" She asked after I quietly thanked her for my breakfast.

"Well, something seems to be on fathers mind and it's obviously a bother to him. Should I ask him if he needs anything?" I set my cutlery down and looked up at Lynn. She stopped the dishes and walked over to the other side of the table, leaning on her calloused palms, rough from her days of scrubbing and cleaning.

"Look Miss Hana, your father hasn't been the same since your mother left. I'm sure he has been stressed out over work again like always." I looked down at my food, about to protest when I saw the look on Lynn's face, it was a look that told me I shouldn't say anything else. I sighed and went back to eating my food, although my appetite wasn't really present any longer.

Quietly thanking Lynn I made my way back up to my room, passing the various pieces of art work and wallpaper covered walls. I laid down on my bed with a thud, bored to death. I would be lying if I said that I didn't want to live the life my friends do, partying all night with shopping sprees during the day. I needed some adventure in my life.

"Hana dear," my father says as he barges into my room without knocking, I sit up slowly on the bed letting our another yawn. "Hana cover your mouth when you yawn it's impolite" I mentally roll my eyes as I quietly nod, sitting up straighter to please my father like I usually had to do.

"I'm taking you out to dinner tonight darling, you're grades have just been magnificent" he gives me a smile but it doesn't reach his eyes. "dress nicely, we will be leaving at 6:30pm sharp" he leaves straight after not saying another word nor letting me speak. I watch him walk across the wide hall into his study, closing the door forcefully. Something is definitely up with him this morning.

Staring at my baby pink walls I get lost in my thoughts, turning my head slightly I gaze out of the large window, staring at the open front yard. Minhyuk, our gardner and mechanic, is seen in the distance trimming the large hedges surrounding the Park mansion, it was hot out today and I found myself instantly beginning to feel bad for him as he reached a palm up to wipe away a pool of sweat forming on his forehead.

I roll over onto my stomach and shove my head into my pillow letting out a quiet groan. Maybe my father is just stressed out like Lynn said, I can't think of any other reason as to why he is acting so strange. I lean up onto my elbows and reach over to grab my book from the nightstand. I have nothing else to do so I may as well just get lost in another book I mentally say to myself.

18:40- ;

Turning the shower off I step on to the fluffy cream shower mat, quickly drying myself and putting on my silky cream robe. I make my way to my bedroom to see a silver box with a tag on it reading my name.

Hana dear,

Please take this as a gift from me, I look forward to seeing it tonight.

Father.

I open up the box to see a beautiful white dress. I hold the mid-thigh length dress in my hands and smile. Same old father, loves to surprise me with such amazing gifts.

I finish drying my hair, curling it into loose waves as I apply some makeup and put on my dress. Lynn must of helped father pick out the dress, he would've never gotten the right size. I adjust the thin straps and reach to grab my white heels.

Putting on my mothers ring I check the time, 6:40pm, I sigh and make my way downstairs to see a disappointed father at the bottom.

"Hana you're late, I specifically said 6:30pm sharp" he sounded annoyed, rubbing his temple. His kind facade instantly disappearing making a frown form on my pale face.

"I'm sorry father" I reply, biting my tongue to prevent myself from lashing out at him.

We walk the distance to the main road where a black limo awaited us. Stepping inside I cross my legs and place my hands together on my lap, avoiding my fathers eyes as he told the driver where he intended to take us.

"You look nice, the dress fits well" I nod in reply, silently thanking him, looking out the window and getting lost in my own imagination as the trees and buildings of Gangnam pass. My thoughts are interrupted as my father lets out a cough, I hadn't even noticed that we arrived after the shortness of the drive. I stepped out grabbing my fathers arm as we make our way into the fancy restaurant, making me feel slightly underdressed even in this dress. Father pulls out my chair as I take a seat, thanking him sweetly.

"So Hana, the reason I-" my father starts as he takes his seat across from me, his sentence cut off by the waiter who arrived at our table. My father seemed quite annoyed and frustrated that his sentence got cut short, but putting on a fake smile he had to maintain our family image.

I looked up at the waiter who was dressed in an elegant white suit with a dark red tie. His hair was parted onto the side, slightly gelled and his face was fresh and clean. Bright hazel eyes staring at us and thin pink lips moving as words I didn't hear poured out of his lips.

"Hana, what would you like to drink?" My father asks cutting me out of my daze, the waiter smirks obviously noticing my staring as I quickly look down at the menu to look at the drinks.

"Oh, I would just like some water thank you" I say kindly to the good looking waiter who writes it down on a small notepad, he gives us a small nod and walks away to the bar.

"Hana I saw you dose off, you must not associate yourself with boys, you must focus on your education" father says sternly and clear as I nod and look down at my hands, highly embarrassed that he caught me looking flustered at the waiter.

"Now that that's cleared up, the reason I took you out to dinner tonight was so I could talk to you about a new arrangement I made," Father starts as I look up at him with a confused look, "I have decided to get you a tutor." I was about to protest that I didn't need a tutor and that the reason he took me out tonight was because I had magnificent grades when he continued speaking.

"The Kwon family's son has been getting awards from the council for his amazing school work, that should be you up there. You know Kwon Soonyoung am I correct?" I nod with furrowed eyebrows, of course father took me out for dinner to tell me I wasn't good enough. It was unusual for him to want to go out for dinner with me. I had met Soonyoung a few times at balls and upper class gatherings. Father wasn't close with the Kwon family, to say they had completion with each other was an understatement.

Soonyoung's father was also a wealthy business owner, he was kind  on the outside but father told me that he was as cold as a stone on the inside. I had never really spoken to Soonyoung but from the conversations I had with him he seemed like a caring boy. I didn't have a choice though if this made father happy I couldn't protest.

"Your first session is in a week, his name is Hansol Chwe, he's one of the top students in Korea and has won awards from the council as well as Soonyoung." I nod as I process the information I am receiving. I'm more surprised that father is letting me have a male tutor more than the actual fact that I am getting a tutor.

"Here is your wine and here, is your water" our waiter speaks, placing the drinks in front of us. After ordering our meals, father and I fell into a dead and awkward silence as I played with the rim of my glass with the tip of my fingernail. I looked around the fancy restaurant watching the many couples enjoy their candle lit dinners and families whom chat with their children.

I looked to my left to catch eyes with our waiter as he collected the orders from the other table. He sent a quick wink before going back to work, I turned  my head and looked back down at the table as a slight blush tinted my cheeks. I've barely spoken to this guy and here he was, getting me all flustered over a small wink. My thoughts where interrupted with a cough of my father.

"I saw that Hana" he said sternly as I sunk slightly back into my seat.

22:03- ;

"He said what!?" My best friend of several years, Bora, said into the phone, "your grades are fine Hana I don't understand why he's doing this, although you could get something good out of this" I could hear her smirk in the way she spoke.

I groaned and flopped down onto my bed, makeup free, messy ponytail and pajamas. "And what could I possibly gain out of this Bora?" I asked, tightening the pony tail on the top of my head as I placed the phone on speaker.

"Uh hello Hana, you're getting a boy tutor! And your dad never lets you hang around boys. Maybe he will be hot" she screams into the phone as I let out a soft giggle at her boy-crazed personality, it was nothing unusual for Bora.

"Even if he is hot, my father wouldn't even let me touch him let alone let him be my boyfriend. I haven't even met the guy for all I know he could be nerdy and up himself."

"I'm sure you will find away" Bora smirks over the phone as I let out a tired yawn. "You always find a way Hana".
