part three,
12:08- ;
It has been three days since my tutoring session with Hansol, and I couldn't get the fact that he was so amazing beautiful out of my head.
I was simply attracted to him, no feelings, just attracted to the way he rested his head on his palm and smirked at me, and the way he smiled with his eyes and scrunched up his face when he laughed.
Flopping onto my bed I think, I have only met him once so why does he have this huge affect on me. I roll my eyes and grab my phone. Grabbing the rubber out of my pocket I contemplate texting the number. What would I talk about? What happens if he's this huge asshole who just flirts with girls for fun? I decide against it and rest my head on my pillow.
I need to stop over thinking this before I go insane. I throw the eraser and my phone on my nightstand and get up to go for a run. I need to clear my head and staying cooped up in my room isn't going to do me any good.
I throw on a pair of workout leggings, a sports bra, a loose t-shirt and my nikes before going downstairs. Making sure to grab the house keys on the way out, I plug in my headphones and make my way through the long front garden. When I reach the road I make my way down the street, jogging at a reasonable place.
I run for what seems like forever until I reach a cute coffee shop on the corner of a street. The smell of the coffee attracts me inside and my eyes scan across the bunches of flowers, wooden tables and crisps white booths.
Making my way to the counter I take note of the menu before deciding on a simple cappuccino. I send a smile to the bored girl on the other side of the counter as she chews her gum and doesn't return the smile.
"Just a cappuccino please" I ask as she types into the register. I change my weight on my feet and search around for my purse.
"That would be $4.50" she replies in a bored matter, adjusting her apron as she opens the cash register. I continue to look around for some money when it hits me that I left my purse at home, not thinking that I was going anywhere or going to buy anything.
"Oh god, I'm sorry I-" I start to say before a hand comes in front of me and places a simple $5 note in the counter. I turn around to find a silver long haired boy, whose hair was tied up in a simple ponytail. He wore a white shirt with a dark blue flannel over the top and dark jeans. "I got you" he says sending me a angelic smile.
"Thank you for that" I smile back and turn around to hide my blushing cheeks. His smile rubs on to you and I find myself not being able to stop smiling. I grab my coffee and take a seat at a booth, nodding at the silver haired boy as I walk past.
I get comfy and sip my coffee in silence, looking out the window to see the cars zooming past.
"May I join you?" I look up to see the same boy holding a coffee as he sends me yet another dazling smile. I nod silently, not trusting my voice as I worry about saying something utterly stupid.
"What's you're name?" He asks, holding eye contact as he sips his latte.
"Hana" I swallow, sending the boy a smile hoping that I'd come across more friendly than the quiet girl who can't speak.
"Lovely to meet you Hana, I'm Jeonghan" he spoke so smoothly I was jealous. He extended a hand which I gladly shook.
"T-thank you for paying for my coffee"
"It was my pleasure, anything for a pretty lady like you" that's when my cheeks really started to burn. Smiling I looked down at my coffee, taking sips until it was slowly all gone.
Jeonghan and I made small and simple talk, nothing too extreme although he made sure to slip in the odd compliment which didn't help my cheeks.
"Well thank you for the coffee, but I should get going now." I smiled sitting up as Jeonghan followed.
"Wait Hana, may I have your number?" The silver haired boy blushed slightly as did I. Grabbing the napkin off the table, Jeonghan gave me a pen as I scribbled my digits into the paper.
"Thank you, I'll be sure to use this" he winked before walking away smiling his angelic smile. I smiled as I ran the whole way back to the Park mansion, happy that I met Jeonghan.
"What are you smiling about Miss Hana?" Lynn asked as I walked through the door. I shook my head and mumbled nothing as I made my way into the kitchen to grab a snack.
Grabbing a packet of pretzels I made my way up to my room, slipping off my runners when I was at the door to my room. I threw the bag on my bed as I grabbed my laptop and sat under the covers. Grabbing my phone out of my pocket I place it on my nightstand.
My eyes scanned over the eraser as I debated on texting Hansol. It was worth a try I thought. Why am I even worrying about this, he's just some boy that is tutoring me.
I sigh, picking up my phone and starting a new message. I type in his number as I think about what to write.
Hana:
Hey Hansol :)
12:15 • D
I throw my phone on my bed after the message sends. I run my hand through my hair hoping that I didn't regret this.
I open up my laptop and put on Netflix, playing an episode of Sword Art Online, eating my pretzels as I waited for Hansol to reply.
After going through 3 episodes of Sword Art Online, Hansol still hadn't replied. I wouldn't admit it but I was slightly upset that he hadn't. I throw my phone back on the bed for the last time and decide to just take a shower to get my mind off of things, plus I didn't smell pleasant from the run.
Hopping into the steamy shower, I wash my hair as I get annoyed at myself for worrying about Hansol's text too much. I've met him once, why am I worrying, I don't like him. He's just attractive.
"Miss Hana, dinner is ready" Lynn knocks on the bathroom door as I step out of the shower, drying myself. I put on some pajama shorts and a big sweater, brushing the knots out of my dark brown hair.
I step into the warm kitchen my feet pad across to the dinner table. I wonder why we are eating at the dinner table, we rarely ever do. Father sits at the end of the table as Lynn sits across from me. I find it lovely how father lets Lynn eat with us, house maids usually don't.
Set in front of me is a bowl of noodles, I quietly start to eat as father makes discussion with Lynn about the house.
"So how was your tutoring session with Hansol, Dear?" Father asks after a while of house talk with Lynn, setting down his cutlery to look me in the eyes. I do the same as I finish my mouthful of noodles. I gulp as I remember my fathers words after the session, he wasn't happy that Hansol was the boy from the restaurant.
"It was good, I learnt a lot and Hansol is a lovely boy" I nod, going back to my food. Father seems mildly pleased with my answer and continues himself. After dinner I excuse myself from the table, putting my dish near the sink I make my way back up to my room.
Sitting under the covers of my bed I tie my hair up in a quick high ponytail, checking my phone.
Hansol:
Hey Hana, what are you up to?
19:49 • D
My eyes practically pop out of their head as a small blush spreads across my cheeks. I really thought he would never reply. Although it didn't come across my mind that he worked more than one job, he was probably busy at work.
Hana:
Just watching some nextflix, you?
19:52 • R
He replies seconds later, making me smile.
Hansol:
Just finished up at work, I'm so tired
19:52 • R
Hana:
What are your jobs? you said you had more than one the other day
19:53 • R
Hansol:
Well as you know i'm a waiter, I also work at a local music store and of course I tutor you ;)
19:54 • R
Hansol and I talk for a bit before he decided to go to sleep, saying that it was a stressful day in the restaurant. I start going sleep happy, happy that Hansol seemed like he wanted to talk to me. Just as was about to fall asleep my phone lit up again with a message.
Unknown:
Hey Hana, It's Jeonghan, the guy from today, what are you up to rn?
20:23 • R
I groan, it wasn't that I didn't want to text Jeonghan, I just really wanted to go to sleep.
Hana:
Hey, I was just about to head to bed actually haha
20:25 • D
Unlike Hansol, Jeonghan took a few minutes to reply, which annoyed me as I really did want to just go to bed.
Jeonghan:
Well I'll leave you to go to bed Princess, sleep tight.
20:31 • R
I was suprised when I didn't feel my cheeks go red at his words, and that I didn't get butterflies in my stomach. No guy has ever said that to me before and I thought when one of them did, I'd be overjoyed, but I felt the same as I did before.
