When I woke up, Hansol was still deep in his slumber, facing me as light snores fell from his lips. I sit up abruptly in the bed, last night catching up on me as I gripped my head in my hand. I take another glance at Hansol, taking in his peaceful state. I instantly find myself staring at his soft scruffy hair, his mouth slightly open as light snores poured out and the way his nose was slightly scrunched together. Regaining myself and standing up slowly I made my way down the corridor to the kitchen.
If I was being honest I didn't remember how I ended up at Hansol's. I wracked my memory but the only thing I could remember was Woozi telling me that my drink was already opened. The thought of not remembering anything started to dawn on me.
I sat down on the bar stool after grabbing myself a glass of water, pulling out my phone to see no missed calls or texts. I instantly start freaking out when I see that it was eleven am, Father would soon find out that I wasn't home and then I'd be screwed. I was about to get up and leave when a sleepy Hansol makes his way into the kitchen, his sweatshirt rising up with his stretching. He freezes when he sees me and I notice something flash across his eyes. His hair was a wild mess like I remembered it to be yesterday, his shirt crinkled with sleep.
"Oh Hana, you're still here" he said in his deep morning voice that made my insides turn. Although the tone in his voice was different, almost nervous and I couldn't put my finger on why.
"Yeah of course why wouldn't I be" I laugh, taking another sip from my water. He looked like he was about to say something important when he stops himself.
"Wait, what do you remember from last night? You got pretty drunk" he rubs the back of his neck, grabbing himself a glass of water, taking a seat beside me as he plays with his glass in a nervous matter.
"Only getting to the party, I don't even know how I got here," I start, when the same strange look covers his face again making me question what exactly I did, "why? did I do something wrong?" He laughs a bit, sending me a sleepy grin when he sees my scared expression before turning his head forward again, I faintly notice a sad look appear in his eyes.
"No you didn't do anything wrong, you did everything right. I picked you up from the party when you spontaneously texted me" I groan and lay my head in my arms, what exactly did I do whilst I was intoxicated. Hansol pulls out his phone and shows me the text I sent him, making me cover my face as an embarrassed blush crept upon me.
"That's so embarrassing" my voice muffled from my hands as I peek my eyes through the gaps between my fingers. Hansol laughs at my embarrassed state, teeth showing as he stares at me with the same look in his eyes that I saw before. Peeling my hands away from my face, we stare at each other for a second too long, making us abruptly turn out heads away to look at our glasses.
"I should probably drop you at Joshua's so you can grab your car" Hansol coughs into his fist as I stand up quickly, rushing into Hansol's room to collect my stuff, "Holy shit I forgot the time" I call as I rummage around for my stuff. I grab my top in my hands, putting on the bandage skirt underneath Hansol's large orange sweatshirt, heels in hand I make my way back to the kitchen.
"Leggo" Hansol calls, flipping his keys in his hands as we make our way back to his infamous Jeep. We drive in a comfortable silence, neither of us having anything to say. Not too long later we pull up outside Joshua's trashed mansion, I instantly spot my car at the front, thankfully unharmed.
"Thanks again for picking me up Hansol, I owe you one" I grab his face in my hands and place a quick thank-you peck on his cheek, grabbing my stuff and hopping out. "See ya!" I called before shutting the car door, making my way to my own car. I take one more glance at Hansol to see him sitting still in the drivers seat of his car, a noticeable red blush across his face. I chuckle to myself and start the car, making my way to the Park mansion where I would have to face my father.

I take a deep breath, gulping as I open the front door, heels in hand. I was going to get caught anyways I thought to myself when I contemplated on going up the tree. I pushed opened the door and walked into the foyer, it was quiet and still, nothing as I had expected it to be.
From a far distance I heard the quiet noise of heels clacking on wooden boards, indicating that someone was on there way to where I was right now. Moments later Lynn appeared in the doorway, dressed in her usual attire. When she saw it was me her eyes widened a fraction and she moved closer so she could whisper to me.
"Miss Hana, I'm not even going to ask what you've been up to and how you got out. Your father is still asleep as he worked all last night, so I say that you make your way back up to your room before he catches you!" She whisper-yells, I find myself suddenly glad that she had found me and not my father. I quietly nod and pad my way upstairs so my room, careful not to make too much noise.
Quietly shutting the door I change into a pair of sweatpants, leaving Hansol's sweater on. I take off what's leftover of my makeup and throw my hair up into a high ponytail. I debate in my head whether or not I should explain to Lynn why I came home in the hours of the morning, looking like I had been hit by a truck. Lynn was trustworthy, there wasn't any reason for her to tell Father, she knew it was not her place, but she deserved an explanation.
"Lynn," I quietly say as I make my way into the kitchen, taking a seat on the bar stool, "you deserve an explanation"
"Miss Hana you're a teenage girl, you may do as you please. Your father may not agree but I certainly am not your mother, I cannot control you." She closes the pantry door, finishing up her cleaning before turning around to face me.
"I was with Hansol" I muttered, realizing that I had to get it off of my chest, like it was a sin to be with him. Lynn places her dirty cloth beside the sink and leans on her arms, staring at me in the eyes.
"Hana, your Father must not find out, I like Hansol, he does you well and I'm sure you don't want him to leave either." I sunk in the bar stool, feeling a weight upon my shoulders, what have I done? The last thing I wanted was for Hansol to leave, he showed me a new side to myself. I liked the sudden closeness that Hansol and I shared, he was good to me. Father walked into the room, sitting beside me on a bar stool and opening his newspaper, I instantly straitened up and gulped, the weight on my shoulders still there.
"Morning Hana," he said, giving me a nod in which made me feel as though I was nothing but an acquaintance to him. "I must say that jumper does look familiar" he placed his fingers on his chin, as if trying to remember where he had seen it, although his words sounded mocking. I felt my cheeks burn as I sent a worried glance to Lynn, she just raises her eyebrows at me, sending a look of sympathy before going back to work. Subconsciously I played with a few loose strands on the end, praying that Father wouldn't remember that it was Hansol's jumper.
"Hana, tell me who's it is" with the tone in his voice it sounded like he already knew, and he just wanted me to say his name. I felt my stomach drop as I looked up from the stray strands to stare at my father, trying not to look so embarrassed.
"It's Bora's, I caught up with her the other day and got cold, so she gave me it." I attempted to lie through my teeth, although the look on my father's face didn't change, he knew I was lying. I felt light headed, getting more worried by the second as my palms began to sweat.
"Don't lie to me Hana" Father says, placing his newspaper on the bench, turning to face me with a look that made me wipe my palms on my sweatpants.
"It's Hansol's" I muttered quietly, looking at the floor, as my nerves hit me, my eyes filling up with tears, awaiting to hear Fathers reaction. "I didn't hear you Hana" sending a glare my way he lent in closer to me. He heard me and I knew it, he was getting me worked up to throw the bomb on my later.
"It's Hansol's Jumper" I repeated more clearly, hesitantly looking up to connect eyes with him. Gulping a look of anger washed across his face, just when I thought I hadn't been caught, I had been caught. Lynn looked over her shoulder to witness our argument, a sad look across her face when she realized what was about to happen.
"I am calling him this instant and firing him" The way father was so calm made me sink into my seat, afraid of him as he pulled out his phone and excused himself from the room. I shot up out of my seat, a few tears starting to make heir way down my face. I couldn't believe this was happening, I didn't realize until this moment how much Hansol truly meant to me.
"No Father! You can't do this" I chased after him, harshly opening the door to his study where he leant against his desk, phone in hand.
"Hansol, I am calling to inform you that you shall not need come back here, you are fired. I do not appreciate your current relationship with my daughter." I rushed over to my father, reaching to grab the phone out his grasp, I was going to get a beating later and I knew it, 'I didn't raise you this way' Father would say. He didn't care as he turned his head away so the phone wasn't in my reach. Angry tears started to pour now and I found myself wishing that he never got me tutor in the first place, so I wouldn't have to go through the pain I was feeling right now.
"Father you can't do this" I eventually gave up, sinking down onto my knees in front of him, burying my head in my hands.
"Have a good day Hansol" was the last thing he said, before the room was silent. Not even my sobs making a noise as I stared up at my Father with the most hatred I had ever had for a person.
