I am so sorry I haven't updated lately, I've had really bad writers block and I haven't had the time either. I know this chapter is kinda short but it's the best I could do for now. I promise I'll update again as soon as I can. I love you all, you're the best readers ever.

Riley's POV:

   I stand frozen. What did he mean? He needs me? How? I'm snapped out of my thoughts as Alex speaks up. "Ri, you're scaring me..."
"I'm sorry... I was just thinking..." I say quietly. I look up at him and he looks absolutely miserable. "What do you mean by "I need you"?" He looks at the ground.
"I need you. Not just in any specific way, in every way. Please..." He touches my chest lightly and pulls his hand away.          "I'm sorry... I'm probably making you uncomfortable... I should probably just leave..." He turns to leave but I grab his arm.
   "No, wait..." He turns and I smash my lips against his. The kiss isn't like the others, it's not as passionate, but more so desperate. I pull away. "Do you need someplace to stay tonight?" I ask, out of breath. He shakes his head.
   "You don't have to help me like that..." He says looking down. I remembered that he's not one to ask for help and will only take it if you force him to.
   "You're going to stay at my house. You can't go back to your mom, not now." He tries objecting but I cut him off. "No Alex... I can't loose you. Not to her, not to anyone. You're staying with me and that's final."
   He lets out a long sigh. "Then let's go..."
