Gollum

The beast inside

tears its' host heart to shreds

devouring the good

feeding the dead

With all his sinful might

he seeks the poison once again

His mind is bound

his soul in chains

Where once he lived

    and worked and freely played

Now the only remnant

    barely knows his name

All for sin, all for the blackness

    that sucks us in

A/N:  This picture of Gollum is to me the best image of chasing sin to abandon.   Of course, he is trying to take the ring from Frodo.
