help: okay i want to make her seem more... real  and likeable. it's relatively new book but i do need help with this. also, she's a bit shy and awkward and though i'm like that irl i need help writing it properly. her father died in her first year and she's sad about it still and i want her to be vindictive, but still be compassionate and enjoyable for the audience
