Help: I need help with the development of a male character because that's where I seem to have the most trouble, I didn't write much about him in my story but can you guys please give me an idea of how I can develop a guy who's smart and capable but also has his weakness like in terms of my story not being able to protect someone or failing, I mean I don't know it's also with the dialogues, how can can I write not cheesy dialogue of him displaying that kind of behavior? Instead he would rather seem pretty chill and cool. Please help and I am open to any ideas thank you very much
