Character's Name: Alouette

Book: Alouette, French Bird

Genre: Teen Fiction

Help: Lou is so boring, and very basic. She's very meek and pretty and is turning out to be very wishy-washy.  I need her to change over time and find her own way (in my story, she's come from France to the U.S. and is trying to make a life.) As well as that, she's kind of whiny and judgmental. Everyone likes her, too. How can I change that? I don't want a Mary-Sue
