Help: Clara was homeless before she came to Hogwarts, and it is vital that I include this for later on in the series. The thing is, I'm struggling to pull it off without making the book cliche or without making Clara a Mary-Sue. Does anyone have any ideas that would make Clara less cliche background wise without changing the homeless thing?
