Shelby's p.o.v

I ran towards Cory senpai and jumped on his back causing him to fall over. He turned under me and looked me.

"Wanna go on a picnic?" I said smiling.

"Sure,but can you please get off."

"Yeah,sorry."I said getting up. I held my hand out to him and pulled him up. We held hands as I led him back to my cabin. I told him to wait outside and I walked into the cabin. I was greeted by Ashlie.

"Hey Shelby,what are you going back already?"

"I'm getting the picnic stuff for Cory and I's date." I responded walking past her to grab the basket off my bed.

"Date?"

"That's what I said,"

"Where?" She said.

"Why do you care?"I said suspicious.

"I was just wondering,jeez."

"Whatever,it's at the quiet and shaded place on the beach."

"Cool..."she said.

"Well I'll be going see you later,"she said then walked out the door. That was odd. I made sure I had everything I needed and walked back out to Cory senpai. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Why did Ashlie leave?"

"I don't know,I told her we were going on a date an-"I stopped realizing what I just said. My face started to heat up.

"Date?" Cory senpai said.

"I mean o-only if y-you want it to be I mean I doesn't have to be. It can just be a hang out,hahaha."I said quickly,I was very nervous. I continued nervously laughing.

"No,it's fine. Then it's settled,this is a date."Cory senpai said grabbing my arm. I looked over at him and he smiled at me making me calm down. I walked to the spot while holding Cory senpai's hand leading him there. I led him to the quiet place in the shade and started setting up the picnic. I left the food in the basket and just laid out the blanket. Cory senpai and I sat down and began talking about what we were looking forward to and other stuff.

Ashlie's p.o.v

After Shelby said she was going on a date with Cory I immediately knew what to do. I left and ran to Tommy and Nick's cabin. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. 

"1 second!"Tommy yelled from inside. I heard shuffling and talking. Then after a minute tommy opened the door. His hair was a little messy and his face was red. I just stared at him. What did I just interrupt? I don't even want to know.

"What do you want?"Tommy asked.

"Oh yeah,so I need you and nick to help me spy on Shelby and Cory's date."

"Date?"

"Yeah! They're having it right now!"

"What's wrong?"Nick said coming up behind Tommy. His hair was also a little messy and his glasses were a little crooked up. 

"Shelby and Cory are on a date,"I said.

"What?"

"Yeah! I need you guys to help me spy on the date so nothing to romantic happens."

"So basically sabotaged." Nick said fixing his glasses.

"Not exactly,we only interfere if they're about to kiss."

"Why not?" Tommy said.

"Fine,let's go."Nick said. Tommy stepped out of the house first then Nick. They close the door and turn back to me.

"Where's it at?"Nick asked.

"Shaded,quiet place on the beach."

"What kind of date?" Tommy asked.

"Picnic." They looked at me and I knew what they meant. I started walking towards where I believe the date is going on. As we got closer we heard laughing. It must be them! We snuck around and hid in a bush where we could see Cory and Shelby. Nothing to weird yet.

Shelby's p.o.v

I asked Cory senpai if he was hungry yet and he said yes. I looked through the basket and handed him a sandwich and a drink. He smiled and took a bite out of the sandwich.

"This is really good!"he said with his mouth full. I laughed.

"Did you make this?"he asked. I nodded and he smiled.

"I didn't know you were so good at cooking!"

"I learned from my mom,"

"Wow! Your mom must've been a great teacher!" I laughed at his comment.

"I guess she was," I said.

"So,what have you been doing?"I asked.

"Well,I've started hula lessons with Bri."

"Hula lessons?"

"Yeah,they're fun!"

"Really? But why would you want to learn hula?"

"I mean Bri wanted to and she asked me to join her so I did."

"You know that just because she wants to do that and asked you doesn't mean you have to agree."

"I know,but it's fun and I like it."

"Oh..."

"Anyway, what have you been doing?"

"Nothing much,just think of stuff I could do."

"How about we go to the park sometime?"

"I'd like that,"I smiled.

"What else have you been up to Cory?"

"Umm..."as he was thinking his face started becoming more and more red. I raised my eyebrow in confusion. He looked at me and sighed.

"Well,uh I got invited to the dance thing."

"We all were silly!"

"Oh yeah,"he replied a little nervous.

"oh, Tommy and Nick made up. But you probably already knew that."

"Yeah,I'm happy for them,"

"You do know they're not dating, right?"

"Yeah,I know."

Ashlie's p.o.v

"You do know they're not dating, right?"

"They might as well,"I muttered. Tommy and nick were on either sides of me. They were both blushing. Cory and Shelby continued to talk. After a long time of talking Shelby started packing up. Cory helped her and then they were finished. As they were leaving they stopped and looked at each other. They started to lean in. Then Tommy came out just in time and snatched Cory and ran away.

"Sorry,I need Carl right now!"Tommy yelled as he ran away

 Shelby stood there still confused on what just happened. She then looked a bit upset.

"Stupid masked weirdo,"she muttered walking away. Tommy then came back out of breathe. Nick and I walked out from behind the bush and in front of Tommy.

"Good job Tommy!"Nick said.

"Thanks,"Tommy said blushing.

"Just kiss already!"I yelled making them both blush. I giggled and began to walk away but the stopped.

"Tommy,what did you do with Cory?" I asked.

"I brought him to his hut and threw him at Uni,"he said.

"So he's with Uni?"I asked.

"Yup,NewscapeComics!"Tommy yelled. I continued to walk away while laughing. When I got back to my hut I saw Shelby sitting on her bed a little frustrated.

"Woah,what happened to you?"I said pretending not to know what happened.

"That masked weirdo Tommy took Cory away before we could kiss,"she said.

"Oh.."I said. She huffed then laid down. After a minute or two she fell asleep. I could hear faint snores. I was on my phone scrolling through twitter when someone knocked on the door. I turned off my phone and got up. I opened the door and saw Jon standing there.

"Hey Jon,what's up?"

"Uh the sky,and hey Ash." I laughed at his response.

"Anyway,why are you here?"

"I was wondering, if you wanted to go on a date?"he asked.

"Sure!"I smiled. I walked out side and closed the door. I linked arms with Jon and he started leading us somewhere.
