Cory's p.o.v

I was sitting in my room, at my desk. I was trying to think of something I could do. I was also trying to remember if anything was happening soon. I have a feeling that I'm forgetting something that's happening soon. I just can't remember what. That's why I'm trying to remember, obviously.

I sat there thinking until I saw Shelby walk by my door. That's when it hit me. Shebly's birthday was soon! In fact it's only three days away! I have to plan her a party! And get the others in on the party.

I quickly grabbed my phone off of my desk and made a group chat with everyone except Shelby in it.

C-Hey guys!

U-Hey,

A-Hi,

J-hello,

T-sup,

N-heya,

Sgc-hey,

D-what's up?

B-how's it going?

C-So I just remember Shelby's birthday is in a few days and I was thinking we should set up a surprise party.

A-That sounds like a great idea!

B-I'm in

Sgc-same

They all agreed then we talked about the plan. The party was going to be video game themed obviously,except almost everything is blue. Now all that's left is getting the supplies and presents.

We each decide who was in charge of getting what supplies. I was in charge of the decorations, and so was Bri and Uni. Nick,Tommy, and SGC were in charge of food. Jon and Dawn are in charge of Things we're going to do during the party. And last is Ashlie who is in charge of making sure Shelby doesn't find out and keeping Shelby busy, she's also the person who's going to lead Shelby to the house.

We were all happy with the plans and said bye then set off to work. Ashlie came over and talked to Bri while Uni,SGC, and I went out to get the supplies. The hardest part is probably going to be keeping Shelby from knowing.

The store we went to had a whole section of blue themed party stuff like, plates, balloons,party hats,'happy birthday' banners, confetti,and gift boxes,ect. We grabbed pastel blue plates and dark blue plates. We got different coloured blue streamers. We also got light blue party hats and a ton of blue balloons. The balloons were so many different colours of blue. We also got a  'happy birthday' banner. Then we got some other stuff.

Nick's p.o.v

Tommy,SGC and I were at a bakery waiting in line to  order a cake for the party.  We already had a design in mind. Or we'll I did. I even have a picture to give to the baker, so they know what to do. The picture showed that there are four thin layers of cake each dyed a different kind of blue. And then the icing was blue and white.

We got to the the front of line and I told the guy at the counter what I wanted them to do and gave him the picture. He nodded and smiled at me. He said they'd try their very best to make the exact cake I want.

Now all we have to do is pick up the cake on the twentieth and get some snacks tomorrow. Because if we get them today either Tommy or I will eat them on accident.

I drove to Cory's house and dropped off SGC then I drove to Tommy and I's house. We walked in and sat in the couch. 

Dawn's p.o.v

Jon and I were sitting on our couch, I had my laptop open on google. Jon had his phone out typing down the ideas I said. I Was reading of a site that was full of random stuff to do at parties. Some of the games were pretty stupid. 

"What ideas do we have written so far?" I asked, averting my attention away from my laptop to Jon.

"Well we have, play video games, Eat, and open presents,"

"That's it..." I said a little sad.

"Uh Yeah," Jon said looking up from his phone then looking at me.

"But Im Sure Shelby will be fine with just that, I mean there isn't really many things to do,"

"I guess," I said.

"Don't be sad," Jon said hugging me.

"I'm not sad," I said hugging back.

"Then Why'd you hug back?"

"Because I'm a good friend..."

"Hm good point," he said. I chuckled a little at him. This caused him to smile brightly at me. He leaned up from the hug and gave me a kiss on the cheek. All I did was smile at him as he smiled at me.

-August 20-

Cory's p.o.v

Today's the day. Today's her birthday. Ashlie already came over and took Shelby out to shop and get lunch to keep her busy,while the rest of us set up the party.

Nick and Tommy went out to get the cake and some more snacks. Jon and dawn were setting up where we'd play video games and open presents. Uni, SGC, and I were setting up the house with  decorations.

We already put up the 'happy birthday' banner and some streamers and some light blue fairy lights. Right now SGC is putting the balloons around and Uni was setting up the dinner table for when we eat the cake. Dawn and Jon were setting up the different game consoles right now and getting all the games ready. I was getting the present table ready so it looked cooler.

Everyone already brought their gifts for Shelby. None of us would say what we got for Shelby. We all said it was a surprise. I hope Shelby likes the gift I got her. It took me awhile to find it.

I gently placed the boxes of presents beside each other. The once I filled up that level I began stacking the other boxes on top and around. There were a lot of presents from us,because we almost forgot so we felt bad and got a ton of presents.

I checked the time to see how much longer we had. I told Ashlie to bring Shelby back around 6:00PM. The clock said it was 5:00PM which means we only have an hour left.

"We have one hour left guys!" I shouted making sure everyone heard me. I heard a bunch of "okay"'s then we all continued what we were doing. After about ten tries of getting the presents to stack properly, I finally finished stacking all the presents.

I went over to Uni to check on his progress. He had a pastel blue table cover on it. He also had three dark blue bowls in the middle of the table. In the middle of the three bowls was a space where,I presume, the cake will go. He also had the paper plated set in two different stacks one on each side of the table. He also had the light blue napkins beside the bowls. He ask had three different cup things that had different eating utensils in them, those were placed where each bowl touched. Then last there were the aqua blue cups that werebeisde the plates.

"That looks really good," I complimented.

"Thanks," Uni said looking at me while smiling.

"Well I gotta go check on the others, keep up the good work," I said walking away.

"See ya," Uni said as I left the room and walked into the living room. What I saw when I walked in was Dawn stacking the games up nicely and Jon setting up the stereo. They had all the different game consoles we had on the shelves of the T.V stand. The living room looked pretty good. The couch and the floor in front of the couch was even set up. There were blankets and pillows so we could all sit and play video games, and be comfortable while doing it. 

"Wow you guys already did a ton," I said. Jon and dawn turned their attention towards me.

"Thanks Cor, all we really need to do now is get this stereo working and stack the video games."

"Cool, need help?" I asked.

"No, we're good, I just finished stacking the games so I can help with the stereo." Dawn said.

"Okay," i said walking away. I don't really have anything else to do. I mean I could go get my camera and record what we did and then post it later.I might as well. I walked upstairs to my room and got my camera. I walked downstairs while turning my camera on. As soon as I got downstairs i was in the living room. I then began talking to the camera and showing what each person did. I of course said who did what.

After showing everything I turned off my camera and put it in a place where it could film everything. I made sure everything was ready then check the time. 5:50pm!!

"Everyone get ready! They'll be back soon!" I said. 

"Okay, we should probably get the lights off then," Dawn said.

"Yeah," Jon agreed.

"You guys go upstairs and make sure all those lights are off and Uni and I will close all the curtains down here and turn off the lights. They nodded and ran upstairs. Uni and i then walked around downstairs making sure we closed all the curtains and turned off all the lights. Soon the only light that was seen was coming from the fairy lights.

Soon Tommy and Nick arrive and set up the cake and snacks. I quickly checked the time one more time. 5:56pm! She'll be here any minute! Time to get in position.

"Guys! Get down here and get into position!" I yelled loud enough for Jon and Dawn to hear me. A few seconds later they were scrabbling down the stairs. We then all hid in our positions and waited. Soon we heard the car pull up. We were now all getting super excited. Soon Ashlie entered from the backdoor and got into position after fixing the curtains. Then Ashlie made a noise. We all looked at her and she just moved her head towards the door. That kinda gave us the message.

Then the doorknob began to turn. Then slowly the door opened to reveal Shelby standing there. She stepped in and closed the door. She had shopping bags in her hands. Then we all jumped out from our positions.

"Happy birthday Shelby!" We all yelled in unison. Shelby then put her hands up to her mouth. She then moved them down and had a huge smile on her face.

"Thank you guys so much!" She said.

"You're welcome!" We all said.

"It was Cory's idea," Uni said.

"Oh really?" She said.

"Yeah," Jon said. Shelby then looked at me and smiled.

"So, what do you want to do first?" I asked.

"Well, what is there to do?"

"Im glad you asked, we have cake, presents, and video games!" I said pointing to each area of the house where the certain things were. Shelby smiled.

"Um, how about cake?" 

"Sounds good," I said smiling. We all led Shelby into the dinning room. She gasped when she saw the set up.

"Who did this?" She said.

"I did," Uni said.

"Wow, this is beautiful Uni," she said.

"Thanks," He said. Everyone but Uni and I sat down in our seats. Uni and i passed out the plates, utilities, and cups. We then cut each of our friends a piece of cake and placed it on their plate. We then asked what drink they wanted. Then we poured them the drink they asked for. Then uni and i sat down and we all started eating.

"This is amazing!" Shelby said.

"Yeah," Jon said.

"So,what are we doing next?" I asked before I ate another fork full of cake.

"I was hoping presents," Shelby said.

"Sounds good," I said after I swallowed the last piece of my piece of cake. We then all got up and went into the kitchen. I handed Shelby one gift at a time. She'd say the name of who gave it to her then open it. This showed us what the others got for Shelby. Shelby opened a ton of presents and now was on the last one. This one was mine. And in the box is a really pretty bracelet I got for her.

I handed her the box and she slowly opened it. As she took put the small box with the bracelet in it everyone gasped and looked at me. All I did was smile. She opened it and gasped then smiled. She took it out and then everyone suddenly let out a breathe. I was confused but the it hit me. They thought it was a ring! Ha! Shelby then put on the bracelet.

"I love it!" She squealed hugging me. I hugged back and smiled.

"Im glad you liked it." I said. We then broke the hug.

"Now to video games!" She shouted. We then all went to the couch. Nick, Tommy, Uni,and Ashlie were sitting on the floor while Dawn, Jon, Shelby, and I were on the couch. We all had blankets over our legs. Only a few of us could play at a time. The first game we played was Mario kart then we changed games every so often. We played for hours changing turns every once and a while. We played until like 1:00Am.

We were all pretty tired now. Some of us even already fell asleep. Nick and Tommy fell asleep. Tommy had his head in nick's shoulder. And then there was Jon and Dawn who also fell asleep. Jon was laying on dawn with his head on dawn's chest. Like Dawn was laying down and Jon was on top of him. It was actually pretty cute. Uni and SGC were super drained and went straight upstairs to their rooms and probably fell right asleep as soon as they laid down. They did work pretty hard today.

Ashlie went home. So it was just Shelby and I. I began cleaning up the dinning room. Then Shelby came In and started helping.

"Oh you don't have to help Shelby," I said.

"But I wanna,"

"You sure?"

"Uh yeah," she said smiling. I smiled back and continued cleaning. Soon we finished the dinning room then went to the kitchen. I cleaned up the wrapping paper and tissue paper and other stuff from the presents while Shelby took the presents she got up to her room. Then we were finally done for the night. Shelby finished putting everything in her room. I told her I didn't need help cleaning the mess in the kitchen because I was basically done cleaning it. As I was about to lay down in my bed I remembered one last present I wanted to give Shelby. I quietly walked to her door and knocked Lightly and quietly.

She said "come in" So I opened her door slowly and stepped in. I closed the door quietly behind me.

"Oh hey," she said. She was sitting on my bed.

"Hi," i said walking over to her.

"Is this seat taken?" I asked pointing right beside her on her bed.

"No not at all," she said giggling. I smiled and sat down.

"So, why are you up here?" She asked.

"I wanted to give you my last gift," I said.

"And what's that gift?" She said.

"This," i said.

"Wha-" before she could finish I kissed her. She was surprised at first them kissed back. I broke the kiss and smiled at her.

"Happy birthday Shelby," I said getting up.

"See you tomorrow," I said opening her door and walking out. I closed the door then walked to my room. I closed my door behind me then laid in bed. I closed my eyes and thought about today. I smiled as I fell asleep.

-August 21-

Dawn,Jon,Nick,and Tommy went home after helping us clean up the living room. I got my camera and looked at the footage I got. It was pretty good but needs some editing obviously. I smiled and put my camera down. The next thing we celebrate is Halloween, I think. It's going to be so much fun to dress up and have a Halloween party. And eat candy.

I can't wait for Halloween.
