The dark wrapped around my wrists.
It blinded me.
Told me who loved me.

It was wrapped around others too.
Cutting off their voice.
Drowning their thoughts.
I thought I saw a light.
Then it faded.
I wished for it to be gone.
I needed light.
Then I found it.
In her.
In her smile.
In all smiles.
And laughs.
