Treason's P.O.V

It's been a few weeks since I've heard or seen Prophet after he found out who I actually was. I mean I understand why he's upset but how the hell was I supposed to know that he worked for my father? I guess we both lied because he told me he was a bagging clerk. so what the fuck he bagging? It aint no goddamn groceries that's for damn sure. but its whatever I'm not trippin off him. Its my weekend, That's right a bitch finally 16 in this bitch and my dad finally let me off of solitary confinement. and just in time. He and my mom having this big surprise planned that requires me to stay in this big hotel suite in the middle of downtown Atlanta. so the girls and I decided to do a little shopping at Lennox before I had to meet my god mother to get my hair and makeup done. I'm so excited for tonight hopefully its a chill situation and no drama pops off.

"Oh Treeeeassssson, What it do Birthday girl?" Selena asked as she walked into the suite with our large iced coffees and muffins from Starbucks. I grabbed the drinks from her before giving her a side hug and going back to my spot on the couch.

"Honeeey listen its about to be a fucking movie do you hear me? Is you ready whore!? Is you ready" I exclaimed falling back on the bed bursting into a fit of laughter. I was so ready to just let loose and have a good time. I've dreamed about this day since I was a little girl, I mean down to the very little detail. I mean you turn 16 once so you might as well go all out right?

"I'm so hype I cant wait until you see the gift I bought you, now granted its not going to be as extravagant as Uncle Ju and Auntie Ruby's gift might be but it comes from the heart that's all that matters" Selena said claiming her spot on the sofa next to me taking a sip of her coffee.

"Its the thought that counts sis" I rolled my eyes playfully scrolling through my phone.

"Whatever, Have you heard from P?" She asked looking at me with a serious look before turning it into a sympathetic one. I shifted nervously then let out a breath to keep myself from tearing up.

"Nope not at all, I mean I want to but, We both lied but also we lied for obvious reasons, I lied because I wanted to be someone other than Julius Kinkade's daughter and he lied because he's an errand boy for my father, I'm pretty sure we could have had an adult conversation about that but no he wants to act like a child and I just don't have that type of time"

"Welp looks like you're gonna have to talk to him sooner or later, I think he's gonna be at the end of the summer bash and he's coming with his baby momma Nayla" Selena replied slurping the rest of her coffee giving me the" I got tea bitch" Look.

"Wait wait, I thought his baby momma's name was Shawna or something of the sort?"

"Girl this boy just be long dickin anybody who will let him slide in I cant believe he just be fuckin anything that can walk. But word on the street is, she aint keeping it." I looked at her with wide eyes then shook my head again sighing.

"I'm glad we aint do all that cause I aint got time to be worried about weather he gone give me a std or a baby, and Shawna nasty for still messing with him if she is." I stood up and went to the bathroom to get ready to start my day.

"Honey, period" Selena cosigned turning on the Tv. I closed the bathroom door and started brushing my teeth while turning on my rnb playlist on my iPod, then showered and decided to put my hair in a messy bun. when I finally walked out the bathroom where the girls were all spread across the bed talking amongst themselves.

"Oh Bitch look at you looking like you tryna find you a bad ass baller tonight" Le'Andria complimented as she looked me up and down.

"Girl! Goodbye" I laughed and looked at the time on my sidekick seeing that we were right on time. we needed to be back at the hotel at 6:30 so that my parents could pick me up at 8:00 and it was already 11:25 and we still had to go get the last item for my outfit.

"So what do you think the surprise is?" Lauren asked as we all walked to the elevators.

"I don't know but if my mom and god mom planned it then its gonna be something really girly and huge and my dad probably had to come out of pocket a couple grand."

"You're so lucky, All me and Dria got for our birthday was a cupcake and 5 dollars" Lauren replied poking her lip out and folding her arms over her chest.

"That's cause yo momma got 6 kids just be happy she remembered your birthday in the first place" Selena nonchalantly responded causing me and Le'Andria to cackle to ourselves.

"Okay first of all fuck you cause you know she only has 5 and that's not the point"

"Girl that's the point but continue to pout"

"Anyway Tre what else do you need to get for your outfit?" Lauren asked as we walked into the lobby of the hotel where my dad's driver, Greg stood waiting outside for us with a shopping bag from Saks fifth and a big teddy bear causing me to squeal.

"I gotta get the second outfit change and then I want a pair of earrings, Thanks Greg" I grabbed the bag and teddy bear hugging it tight as we got into the suburban. I sat in the way back with Dria and looked out the window. tonight was about to be so much fun I could hardly wait.

The girls and I got back from the mall around 2:15 and then about 30 minutes later my moms personal hairstylist and her makeup artist came and helped me get ready for my big and that's when the nerves started. they wouldn't even tell me how they were going to do my hair and make up. So for 3 LONG hours I had to sit still and let them work their magic and just pray that I was looking good. when they finally finished I went to the bathroom to get a good look at myself and almost cried at the sight, hell I would have cried if I didn't fear messing up my makeup. Miss Tay had my hair in long loose curls with a pretty crown on top with beautiful diamonds and Miss Ivy had my makeup looking just right with the smoky eyeshadow and pretty lip gloss. I felt like a true princess and to top it all off my god mom had this beautiful blue ballgown dress for me to wear with the crystal Louboutin's that fit my perfectly manicured feet nicely.

"Oh my god friend you look so pretty" Le'Andria was the first to speak as I walked down to the hotel lobby where everybody stood waiting for me to come down. I blushed and said a simple thank you as my dad walked up to me in his formal attire. He looked dapper in his all white tailored suit with his matching crystal Louboutin sneakers making me give him a big smile.

"Alright Uncle Ju look at you looking like a real prince charming" Selena hyped him up as the photographer took our pictures.

"Well you know how Unc do and don't forget you know I'm the original P.I.M.P" My dad said as he put on his all white fedora causing the girls and I to all laugh at his silliness.

"You aint the pimp of shit Julius please don't get fucked up on this good day" Mom threatened as she came from behind us holding a jewelry box.

"Aw baby you know I'm just jiving I put my pimp hat up when I married yo fine ass" My dad replied giving my mother a kiss on her cheek followed by one of his signature big smiles as he spun my mom around so we could all get a good look at her. she looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful white dress that came all the way down to her feet and her hair was in a beautiful bun with pink and white roses on each side with a bang coming past her cheek. I really have the baddest mom in the game.

"Whatever Julius come on lets take pictures so we can show this girl her surprise" Mom giggled grabbing my hand gently smiling at me." Come on girls come take a picture with us" We all stood in the middle of the stairs of the hotel and took a group picture before taking individual pictures. finally it was time for the surprise and I was so nervous but more excited than anything to see the surprise and figure out why we are all so dressed up. my mom and dad blindfolded me then we walked a short distance to our destination then all of a sudden it got extremely quiet. I waited for what seemed like forever.

"Alright princess open your eyes in...5,4,3,2,1"My dad took off the blindfold and the crowd erupted in cheers as the DJ Hyped up everybody. I looked around in shock as I saw all my family and friends and the whole city out for little ole me. I told Selena it was going to be a movie and I was correct. I walked further into the room and my dad held my hand, I smiled and waved to everybody as dad and I walked into the middle of the dance floor and stood in front of each other. I smiled and now it was all coming back to me, the 5 hour private dance lessons were so that he and I could have a father daughter dance. and dress shopping with my mom was so that they could throw me this beautiful fairytale sweet 16 and it was everything I could have ever imagined and what made it even better was that I planned it without even really planning it. If I didn't love my parents enough before I loved them now. this was so amazing.

"How do you like your party baby girl?" Dad whispered into my ear as we danced to our favorite song, Dance with my father by Luther Vandross while people took video's and pictures.

"Its everything I could have imagined thank you dad I really appreciate it"

"I want you to know that your dad always got your back Treason if you feel like I'm being hard on you I'm not I just know how these streets will eat up muthafuckas and spit em out, but if I don't know nothing else I know that me and Althea Ruby Kinkade raised a beautiful and intelligent daughter and I know that our lessons are inside of you, you can be anything you wanna be baby just remember that alright"

"I wont let you or ma down dad I promise" I smiled and danced with my dad until the song went off listening to the cheers of everybody as they made their way back to the dance floor. my dad hugged me one last time before letting me go to mingle with my party guest. I talked to a few family members before my mom came and grabbed me so we could change into our second outfits for the night so we could eat. I was excited too cause I hadn't eaten since this morning when Lena bought the Starbucks so I was more than excited to finally eat the food these lovely people have provided.

"Hey are my ladies ready to eat I'm hungry" dad walked to where me and mom had just finished into our matching white V-necks with the words:" Happy Sweet 16 Treason" In my favorite colors lavender and light blue font with a picture of me on the front, and our matching light blue Nikes.

"You are always hungry Ju what has changed?" Mom asked sarcastically as we walked hand in hand.

"You do realize that we are about to have the house to ourselves this week right? you talking a lot of shit right now" Dad replied giving my mom and evil grin causing her to blush. I had to think for a moment what that meant but when I finally figured it out I was absolutely disgusted cause like, What the fuck.

"OMG EW, Don't nobody wanna hear about yall doing the nasty!" I ran away from them back into the ballroom where everybody was gathered at the buffet waiting for me to get first dibs on the dinner, I looked at the full spread before me rubbing my hands together as I smiled at the volunteers who were helping serve us. I quickly went down the line filling my plate up with macaroni and cheese, collared greens and turnips, Cabbage, Fried chicken, yams, meatballs and a little potato salad before walking to my seat in front of the ballroom. I watched as everybody smiled and had a good time talking and just enjoying each others company. I was glad I had a moment to myself after all the festivities cause it was a lot but I was grateful none the less.

"Alright, Alright everybody settle down settle down Julius and I have one last gift for our daughter, Just to show our appreciation for the wonderful young woman you have become, your dad and I realize that its been hard for you and to show you that we are listening and we hear you and are so very grateful for our nooda stink we got you a little something, so if you all could follow me outside we can present our nooda her gift" Mom handed the mic back to the DJ after her speech then proceeded to walk out the doors with everybody including me right behind her. When I got outside I looked around patiently then screamed in excitement as my dad pulled up into my dream car hopping out. I ran to the all black 2009 Range Rover still screaming in excitement while running around the car as everybody laughed. when I opened the passenger side door I saw a black and white Great Dane sitting there wagging its tail. I picked it up seeing that it was a boy making me burst into tears hugging my mom and dad in the process. I was so grateful all I could do was smile from ear to ear the whole time. I started to feel eyes on me so I looked around until I was met with a person I had never seen before staring me deep in my soul before he ran off. I chucked it up as him being a fan thinking nothing of it was we all walked into the ballroom to finish the night off.

"Hey Tre you ready to go back upstairs your mom and dad said they'll be up there after they finish helping clean up" Selena walked to where I was laying my head on the table with Yahtzee in my lap. I stood up yawning then handed Yahtzee to here and stretched yawning again.

"I have to pee and then I'll meet you up there" I replied giving Yahtzee a kiss on his head before walking in the direction of the bathroom.

"Ayo that was a nice party, I'm glad you got to enjoy it" The unfamiliar face said now completely in front of me. I felt a wave of nervousness come over me. Just as I was about to try and walk away my forehead came in contact with a strong chest as I looked up at the unknown person trying to plot my escape. just as I was about to walk away I felt the smaller guy put something over my mouth before everything went dark...What's happening to me..
