That night dad was staying at the lab late he has been working on something he say I'm to young to under stand ,but at the same time he say 'That I'm not like other girl' so I don't know what to think. I hurts my brain to even think that much so I sitting bored watching him work I almost fell asleep. Thais when four men in black and one in the mild of then in white burst through the door and I was frozen in fear. Then all I heard was yelling and scream I wanted to run away. I couldn't run I just had to hide. So I hide also heard my dad say 'Hide' and when I did I hide in a empty room as I did. I heard yelling pushing then a gun shot as I ran out to see what happened as I did so the men left. I saw my dad on the ground with a bolt through his chest. I was sobbing on days on end I was hurt but I didn't know what to do. As I so sad I saw that he was dead gone no way of coming back like I did.

As I was trying to figure out everything I started to read his notes and the more I got into his note the more I saw that the government was trying to make something through him. This tech was not from earth I knew that much for month I study his notes and plans I found out I was the one that held the biggest part int making all of this work. I found the dairy he was writing at the time as I was reading I saw he didn't want them to find it. That night as I went to my room I garbed food, water, money, cloths, my music, my art, and his note and dairy. So that night I slipped out of the old lab. I was walking around the abandoned streets as I did the only bit of light was coming from the little street lights. Thais when I was walking I saw the men before so I ran into a ally and watched them as they were going into the lab to find his notes but mad so the burned the whole place down.

As I watch my house burn to the ground I went to a motel and I walked in a small bell rang. Then all dressed up to head to toe blond chick came and said in a heavy Southerner drawl "Would you like a room sugar " I nod as she was leading me to a room I gave her the money for the first month and she ask as she was opening the door "Ain't you a little young sugar to be living alone" I say "Yes ma but aren't you the own and you look about twenty so You would be watching me" as she thought she said "Well yes true I always wanted a daughter so it would be a win win for both of us....If you don't mind me asking what happened to your parents and how old are you any ways" I answer "Well were do I start I'm sixteen years old and I have no mother and my father got shot and is now dead"

"I'm sorry sugar well I will watch you know ok you will be in great hands" she say as she open the door lets me in and I make myself at home. I put my backpack down pull out my few cloth and my few other things. I see out of the coroner of my eye she was watching me with a sadden look as if without words to say she was sorry and hopes to help me and care for me. As she saw what little I had she say "tomorrow is the Saturday I will put you in school Monday and tomorrow we will go shopping for more cloths for you and other stuff to make you feel at home" .As she was closing the door she asked "whats your name" as I think I responded with "Nightingale" she smiled and said "My is Marry or you can call me mom if you like"

I got into the bed and said with a smile "Night Marry" she turned off the light and said with a happiness I did not under stand "Night Nightingale"
