Chapter 3: Laughs
Laura's POV
The next day after meeting Will, I have less work but still a lot.
So that afternoon I go back to the coffee shop.
I sat down, got all of my books and papers out and started working.
A few minutes later, a coffee was on my table and on the napkin was a smiley face.
I looked over at Will, who was cleaning on the counter, and he smiled back.
Will stared walking over to me and I said "Why did you write this on here?" I acted like I was fake mad.
He laughed "To make you smile and laugh!"
I laughed too "It apparently worked!"
Will smiled at me and said "I'll let you get back to your work. You seem to have a lot."
I smiled and shook my head.
He's funny I thought, then got back to work.
Will's POV
After Laura and I laughed for a bit, I let her get back to work.
She had a lot of work but also a lot of books.
I heard that the library at the college was huge, so I suppose that Laura got what she needed.
Laura seemed to be excepting me as a daily friend.
I'm almost glad that I didn't go to college, now that I've met Laura.
But what will happen when she graduates?
Will she move here? Or will she move back home?
Will we keep in touch? Or forget about each other and move on?
The answer are only in the future so I'll never know until then.
Plus I should be thinking about what to draw on her napkin tomorrow.
I gave a little laugh to myself.
Some people looked at me like "What is he laughing at?"
I don't really care though because not everyone's opinion counts.
