Chapter 8: Fight
Laura's POV
As I walked to Bean Coffee Shop on Monday, the sun was warming my cold body. Even though the snow had blanketed the town.
I was walking along then a man came around the corner and attacked me!
He was on top of me but I acted quick.
I kicked him in the gut but stayed laying on the ground.
When the man attacked me, I fell over onto my arm, which was now in horrible pain.
The man got up and jumped on me again.
Why is he doing this?
People started noticing and came over to watch and help me.
I saw the man reach into his back pocket and pull out a gun.
I gasped, pulled a pen out of my bag, and stabbed him in the arm several times.
He dropped the gun as he held his bleeding arm.
"Who are you and why are you doing this to me?" I had stood up and pointed the gun at him to defend myself.
My attacker glared at me. "It's none of your business who I am and I need money."
"Well you aren't getting any." I looked over to see the police watching.
I lowered the gun. "Thank you officers."
I then looked at myself; wet from the snow, my hair was all messy, and blood was all over my shirt from me stabbing the man with my pen.
All of a sudden, Will came darting out of the coffee shop.
He grasped he in a hug.
"You look tough." He said as he let go of me.
I giggled and said "This isn't a time for jokes."
I heard a commotion and saw the man that attacked me break free from the handcuffs and take a pistol from one of the police.
I heard a shot, then I felt pain like never before.
I fell to the ground, feeling dizzy. But I could still hear; screams echoed around me.
I could hear the ambulance sirens, Will's cries, the police shouting and attacking the man.
Everything started to go dark.
Was this it?
