Erin was pressing her lips together, focused on thinking what to draw, narrrowing her eyes on the blank paper. And she did what she would always do when she is uninspired. Draw a portrait. Well, she was deciding between a man or a woman when she noticed the new boy wasn't in class.

So what? It's not like it's my concern. She thought. But she couldn't deny that he intrigued her.

The redhead started drawing the face shape , which vaguely looked like a female jaw.

,,Class , anybody has an idea where Mr. Bernadson is ? He should be in class..."

A group NO was heard and the teacher left the room. The girl just raised her shoulders and continued her work.

In the Principal's office, Lucas was talking about his last visit to the doctor , when a women entered.

,, I am so sorry, Bob, but I was worried... And you must be Lucas Bernadson, our newest student. I came here to see if you are here, since you're not in my class..."

,,Oh", said Lucas. ,,You must be our Art teacher. "

,,May I talk to you, Lucas,after the hour? And take your time, I see there are important things to talk to the principal."

She leaves the room immediately , leaving Lucas in a shock.

On the way to the Art class, to talk to his teacher, he accidentaly crashed into a girl. She was carrying a painting and he managed to take it from the floor , apologizing for the 100th time.

,, I am so so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." .

The girl smiled, pinning her glance on the floor, intimidated.

,,No, it's fine. It's my fault too. "

He raised his jaw and saw better the girl and Lucas realised she was the one in the Maths class.

,, Oh , you are the girl in the Maths class. Erin, right? "

,,Yeah, sorry for not helping with the exercise. I can be very... rude sometimes when it comes to Maths."

,, As you know , I suck at Maths, so you had every right to be. I am so sorry, I have to attend a disscusion with our Art teacher. "

,, Because you weren't in the Art class today?" Erin tried to guess.

,,Yeah, that sort of things. I had a good reason, though."

,,Right." She said , leaving to her locker and Lucas heading to the Art class, that was empty now.
