weight dwindled and
along with it went my health

couldn't stand without rocking
side to side

it's amazing i never collapsed
in school or on stage

for dizziness and exhaustion
always seemed to overcome me

"you're just dehydrated"
i'd tell myself

deep down i knew the truth
but my denial never lost

spotty vision and stumbling
never stopped me

the voices in my head
were just much too loud

~no one could silence them
