Chapter 1- Therapy
"Then what happened after Lily?" The therapist asked.
"You already know what happen so why do you keep asking me the same question over and over and over again, why?" Lily snapped back. Her fingers gripping her chair so tight her knuckles turned white.
"Because I want to help you Lily." Lily scuffed at her words. Haven't she heard that before?
It has been over thirteen years since lily's parents died. The cops says it was jealousy that caused there death. It was even on the front page of DailyLife newspaper.
'JEALOUS WIFE KILLED HUSBAND AND HIS MISTRESS ,THEN KILLED HERSELF'
No one would believe her when she told them it was her fault, her doing. They just said that she was severely traumatized after witnessing such awful event. They all bought it. So they just threw her in a foster home then straight into therapy. She has change five therapist in the past thirteen years but this one was pretty determined that she stuck around the longest. She threw tantrums, yells, screams, stayed silent throughout most of her sessions with this woman. But never has she ever groaned out off frustration or show any signs of fatigue, she was always calm and collected.
"Why?" She asked out of nowhere, confused.
"Why what Lily?" The elderly woman asked looking confused herself.
"Ms. Young, you've been my therapist for nearly three years now, why is that? Most of my therapist couldn't even pass two years, so why are you still here?"
The therapist Ms. Young laughed at her question. This caused lily to get angry. "You think I'm funny??" She bellowed.
"No, no. Ofcourse not. I'm sorry lily." She said sobering up quickly. "It's just that your question threw me off guard."
Lily was still angry so she said nothing.
"To answer your question. You see, I love my job. And helping people is my passion, even if they don't want any help." She said. "And I know that you can get better as well." Lily nodded trying to comprehend her words.
"Now back to me asking the questions. Are you taking your medications?"
"Yes." She lied.
"I know your lying Lily." Ms. young said. "You need to take those pills, that is the only way you can get better."
"And what if I don't want to get better?!" She sassed.
"Don't you?" The therapist threw back. Lily sighed defeated. "Are you still hearing those voices you keep saying you're hearing?"
"Nope." Lily lied for a second time. The therapist sighed and stood up.
"Just take your pills Lily and I'll see you next week."
Lily stood and got ready to leave.

'I like to pretend I'm all alone. Completely alone. Maybe post-apocalypse or plague... whatever. No one left for me to act normal for. No need to hide who I really am. It would be... freeing.' Lily thought.
"Stop grinning like a fucking psycho and get back to work Ms.Flinn!" Lily's boss yelled at her. Even though her childhood was..... well rough. Lily was a grade A student throughout her years which landed her a job as the assistant of the infamous, arrogant CEO of the Lawsons' Corp. Micheal Lawson.
"Sorry." She said shyly. Her cheeks glowing crimson. Her boss glared at her and marched to his office. Ever since she started working for him a year ago she had been crushing on him from there on out. He wasn't buff, he was more on the lean side.
The day was a breeze. She finished the last of her paper works for the day and went to her boss's office.
"Come in." Micheal called out when he heard a knock at his door. Lily slowly entered.
"Sorry to bother you boss but my shift has ended so I was just heading out for the day." He glanced at her for a short period then he nodded.
'He looks so gorgeous just sitting there." She thought biting her lips.
Micheal looked up, "Anything else?" He asked with his brows creased.
Lily fumbled a bit startled for being caught staring. "No I'm sorry."
With that she left in a hurry. Once outside she release a breath that she didn't realize that she was holding. She went to her car and drove home to her apartment.
Within' fifteen minutes she arrived home. She threw her key in a bowl near the door then she took her jacket off.
"Pooch!" She called for her cat. Some how over the years she got to keep the cat. "Where are you?" She wondered off to the kitchen.
"Great. The crazy bitch is back." Said a deep male voice.
A bright smile spread across her face at seeing the fluffy fat feline on the counter behind her. "There you are!" She cooed excitedly. "Did you miss me?"
The cat scoffed, "You wish." licking its paw.
"Stop living in denial Pooch. Anyways Dr. Young said I must take my medz in order to get better." She told the cat as she filled a cup with water and went for her pills in the cabinet.
"You shouldn't listen to that bitch you know. You will never get better. I know that, You know that. We all know that."
"Oh shut it. What do you know huh? Your just a cat." With that she threw her head back with the pill then she drank the water.
She left the kitchen and went to her room to lay down.
"Tomorrow I am going to grow some balls and ask my boss out." She said smiling brightly, staring at the ceiling feeling drowsy. 'And he has no other choice but to say yes.'
