Beach
One day, Kaoru and Hikaru decided to play a game with the girl. An age-old game you may know of. The Which One is Hikaru game! The girl sat there in confusion as they walked in with their stoic faces and mussed up hair.
"Hi guys!" She waved in hesitant happiness, quizzical at seeing the determined sparkle in their usually blank eyes.
Kaoru gave her a tiny, reassuring smile as Hikaru studied the girl they had befriended in the past 2 weeks carefully.
The girl smiled awkwardly and glanced between them,"what?"
"We're want you to play a game ___." Hikaru stated.
___ grinned and agreed.
"What game is it?" She questioned with a tilt of her head, sandy hair spilling out of her messy bun.
"Which twin is which." Hikaru said after a moment of pondering, thinking he would have to edit the name later.
___ noticed the boys had mussed their hair up and when she wasn't looking, had switched places over and over again.
The girl looked at them with emotionless eyes for a moment.
"That's Kairi-chan and you're Hikari-chan." She giggled happily at the sound of her nickname.
Hikaru narrowed his eyes to yell at her for the stupid names when he stopped dead in his tracks.
She had actually gotten it right.
"H-how did you know?" Kaoru asked with wide eyes.
Her carefree face turned to them,"it isn't that hard to tell you apart. You're voices are really different and while Hikari-chan is more cautious, Kairi-chan is more shy, it's cute!" She laughed in delight when their cheeks turned a rosy red.
"It must be lonely, huh?" She said a moment later, a sad expression on her youthful face.
The twin boys looked at her with sad olive green eyes.
"To always be mixed up, to always be referred to as the Hiitachiin twins instead of Hikaru and Kaoru Hiitachiin. You must be lonely and cautious, huh?" The girl looked at them with sad sea blue eyes.
They looked at their forever connected hands. "We aren't lonely because we have each other." They said, squeezing the others hand but their eyes spoke a different story.
The girl tilts her head, a tiny smile on her lips.
"I guess I'll just have to make sure Kairi-chan and Hikari-chan are never lonely. Even if I have to watch from the sidelines."
Hikaru and Kaoru stared at the weird girl. She was really weird. But they were starting to think, maybe that wasn''t such a bad thing. Maybe, just maybe...they could let her into their lonely world.

"I don't like the beach." I wrinkled my nose at the thought of scorching hot sand, dirty water (fish and people pee in there!) and endless piles of seaweed that stung my skin.
"Please don't leave me alone with the fangirls and the idiots. I was already kidnapped to go to a waterpark with the idiots." Haruhi groaned.
"Was it fun?" Alyssa asked.
"No, Honey-senpai got swept away by a tidal wave created by Tamaki-senpai and Mori-senpai got really worried and clumsy so we went searching for him, ran into alligators, but Kyoya-senpai called a search group who didn't know about other visitors so they attacked Mori-senpai and but we were saved by Honey-senpai and I accidentally said I preferred the beach." Haruhi said in one breath.
I blinked in surprise. I was expecting Tamaki to gush over Haruhi again, perhaps Hikaru and Kaoru would throw a prank or two. Actually now that I think of it, that trip sounds, ironically, pretty funny.
Although Haruhi didn't sound very amused.
"Please, it's Kyoya-senpai's private beach. He mentioned wanting to see you there." Haruhi tried again.
I flinched and mentally smacked Haruhi. Now I would have to go. Turning down a deliberate invitation from our biggest business partner would be an insult to them.
"I suppose I could make an exception." I said stiffly, and defeated.
"I look forward to it, Miss Sakura." Kyoya said out of no where. Or perhaps he had always been there?
"Whoa!" Alyssa yelped so I'm guessing he appeared out of the shadows.
"I am too Mr Ootori." I nodded my head in acknowledgment.
"Alright! The weirdo Haruhi regulars are coming too!" Hikaru and Kaoru said together in annoyingly cheerful voices.
I felt several thuds from the ground nearby. I suppose they were dancing?
Feeling mischievous, I slightly extended a foot and was rewarded with the cool fabric and hard bone connecting.
With a thud and groan, the Hiitachiin's were defeated.
"Seriously, you guys should be more careful!" Alyssa scolded.
"Did they fall funny?" I asked blankly.
"Want me to describe it to you?" Kaoru asked sarcastically.
"Yes."
"Really?" He asked, shocked.
I shrugged and motioned to continue.
"Um. I fell on top of Hikaru and now we both have a red mark from butting heads." He said awkwardly.
"What do you look like appearance wise?" I asked swirling my tea.
"Orange hair and green eyes?" He asked in confusion.
"Why do you wanna know that?" Tamaki suddenly said right next to me." I blushed and jerked away with a scowl. Honestly, could these idiots get more dense?
"I think you forget. I can't see you. I don't know what your faces look like. I don't know whether you are a blond or brunette. To me you could be hideous and I wouldn't know." I said impatiently.
"T-t-t-t-that i-i-i-i-is s-s-s-s-s-so s-s-s-s-s-sad!" Tamaki sniffled.
"I have a plan! We will all describe our beauty and grace upon your poor, deprived soul!" Tamaki cried, the scent of roses suddenly flared again.
"Stop posing." I muttered.
"AHHH HOW DID YOU KNOW?!?" He screamed.
"Somehow I'm already accustomed to your habits senpai." I say stoically.
I felt two fingers poke my cheeks.
Poke poke.
"What are you doing?" I asked, annoyed.
"Searching for your secret eye." Honey said innocently. I rolled my eyes but patted his head.

Plop
I jumped at the sound of a object connecting with the table.
"There!" Tamaki said proudly.
"What?" I asked blankly.
"A detailed description of how we look, our dreams, goals, and other important stuff!"
"Ah, sorry senpai but I kinda, don't really care about this. Also it isn't written in Braille so I couldn't read it anyway." I sighed and stood up, gathering my things before leaving Tamaki in a stunned silence.

I sat under the shade next to Haruhi and Alyssa. I wore a simple overly long white shirt I used to wear as a child and black shorts.
I grimaced as I felt my pale skin burn even under the shade. Another reason why I hate the beach. Sun burns.
"So, Kai, what does your family specialize in?"
"Medical field." I responded, dully letting the hot sand fall from my palm.
"Do you, um, open waterparks like Kyoya-senpai?" Haruhi questioned.
I felt my face crinkle in confusion.
"Waterpark? Of course not. We own many hospitals, care centers, and even orphanages but no, I don't believe we own a waterpark." I said, humor laced in my tone.
"Rich people are weird." Haruhi muttered.
"Miss Sakura." A voice suddenly said.
I jerked in surprise and shakily turned to the voice.
"Yes, Mr Ootori?" I asked hesitantly.
"I have a business opportunity I would like to discuss with you. My father thinks you will be pleased. I would like to discuss it over a dinner we will provide along with a room to stay overnight."
"I look forward to it. I know I will not be displeased Mr Ootori." I said in my most business like tone.
I usually dealt with all the affairs with the Ootori family and other partners. Apparently, as a child I was a so called 'Daddy's Girl'. Therefore, I supposedly mimicked his actions which led to my above average tactics in business.
I felt a jab in my side and tilted my head in acknowledgment.
"Let's go up a cliff!" Alyssa exclaimed.
"So you can push me off or double suicide?" I asked stoically.
"Huh? For the vi- amazing wind." She quickly changed 'view' to 'wind.'
"Sorry, I'd rather stay here." No way in hell is wind worth getting a sunburn.
"Pleeeeease?"
"No."
"Pretty pleeeease?"
"Hell no."
"Amazing pleeeease?"
"Alyssa puppy eyes don't work on me. You of all people should know."
"Huh? How'd you- never mind I don't wanna know." I heard Alyssa say as she walked away, the smooth sand letting out a slight swishing sound as it moved to ones movement.
I dug my hands through the smooth sand, letting the grains slip through my fingers.
I let a small smile appear on my face as I heard the gentle waves of the ocean, pushed on by a cool breeze that wet the smooth sand, creating a substance not quite soggy but not quite moist.
I don't know how long I sat there when I heard yelling.
"You could've been killed! You're a girl! I'm not talking to you until you understand you were wrong." I blinked in surprise at the angry tone in Tamaki's voice.
I subconsciously felt my mind dissect the different emotions and tones in his voice.
Low, angry. Quivering, shocked. Slightly heavy, relief. Thick, fear.
He's angry because of a shock that scared him but it ended up in relief.
Girl...
Did Haruhi do something? I can't imagine who else he would react so strongly to than her.
I mean it is the girl he likes.
I heard heavy footsteps thunder closer.
"Senpai?" I asked and the footsteps paused.
"Ah Kai, I didn't see you there." Tamaki tried to say lightly.
"Did Haruhi do something bad?"
"Haruhi is forgetting she's a girl." He said tightly, "she thought she could take down 3 brutes by herself."
"Senpai, even though Haruhi was wrong doesn't have anything to do with being a girl. Girls have greater capabilities than you think. How else do you except them to go through childbirth? You of all people should respect the fact although Haruhi made a mistake, she was brave for trying." I lectured lightly.
Tamaki was silent for a moment.
"I'm just worried about her." He said sadly, it came across lower so I assumed he was hanging his head.
"Haruhi won't look up to you if you hang your head Tamaki-senpai. You both made a mistake. No matter your opinion on girls, you should know they are very stubborn. Do you really want to be stuck in an argument on a 'nice' trip like this? It's time for one of you to be either a bigger man or woman." I said quietly, allowing a little smile to touch my lips.
"Thank you Kai-chan." Tamaki said, a smile in his voice.
I blinked at the honorific before smiling and listening to the footsteps walk away. Less thundering this time.
I took a sip of water before standing and stretching.
I took my walking stick to find the stone path and started back.

Crack
Crack
Crack
Everyone silently listened as Haruhi ate crab after crab. I sighed and turned to face the direction in which Kyoya was seated.
"Mr Ootori, you wanted to discuss a business opportunity. You said I would be pleased." I spoke quietly.
"I believe a nearby get-away location has necessary requirements to grow abundant resources that could create a stronger medical front." He explained.
"Are you certain the environment will not intoxicate the materials you wish to gather?" I asked seriously.
"I assure you Miss Sakura, we had our top researchers analyze the situation and they found nothing but positive feedback." I could practically hear the winning smile in his voice.
"Very well, you may give details of the location to me later, I will look it over and mention it to Mother though I expect this will be discussed and agreed upon with no hesitation." I nodded politely.
"I see, you haven't seen the error of your ways." Tamaki suddenly said.
I mentally groaned and shook my head at the idiocy displayed by the male.
I stood up and thanked for the meal before starting to retire to my room.
"Kyoooooya, I need lotiooooon." Tamaki whined, I shook my head in disbelief and sat on my bed.

"Ne, Ne, Kai-chan, guess what Tono did~? He tried to taint Haruhi!" The twins sang as they followed me to my car.
"Why are you following me?" I asked irritably.
"We wanna go to your house!" They cheered.
"Go put lemon juice in your eyes." I said bluntly.
"So mean!" They said in a wounded facade,"we will break you! Just like we broke Haruhi!"
"Good luck with that idiots." I muttered.
"Aww Kai-chan you're so mean."
"What else would I be?" I asked as I slammed the door to my car. The driver starting the engine.
