Wrong Room
We don't know what we really have until we lose it. Everyone takes something for granted. Talking to a good friend, looking at the vibrant colors of the world, and hugging your parents goodbye.
People don't realize that as easy as it can be gained, it can be taken away in a blink.
I'm not innocent. I took everything I had for granted without realizing it.
My name is Kai Sakura, 15 years old. I lost both my father and sight at the age of 8. I met my best friend Alyssa 2 years later.
Things were never quite the same. I smiled yet it felt empty. I cried yet it was only a speck of the tears I kept inside.
When I started Ouran, or the 'retarded pink school' I've heard many address it as, I was falling into depression. Not the depression where I found release in cutting myself. Nor was I unhappy with my appearance or body.
No, this was the kind of sadness that was caused by suffocating loneliness. The urge to find someone who could understand what I bottled up and hid away. The pain I went through everyday.
This is my story. A story that begins by walking into the wrong room.

"What does the school look like?" I asked Alyssa.
"...pink." She groaned.
"Pink?" I felt my nose crinkle in confusion. I blinked at the darkness even though I knew it was pointless.
"Big, pink, and oh...a fountain of a guy, um, using the bathroom."
"Oookay." I shook my head, "that's not weird at all. Hopefully the classes won't be as weird." I chuckled nervously.
"For some odd reason, I completely doubt that." She said blankly, "Anyhow I'll walk you to your class. What was it again?"
"Room 12. Apparently it used to be a storage closet."
"What do you think they're going to teach you?" Alyssa asked, absentmindedly pulling out her pocky.
"Well we're probably just going to learn more Braille." I shrugged as I stumbled again, annoyed I pulled out my extendable walking stick.
I hated using it because it was like a huge sign above my head,
Hey look at the blind kid!
I preferred having a Alyssa as my guide or my seeing eye dog, Choko.
I felt my stick hit a door and cocked my head questioningly.
"Yeah thus is room 12." I heard the door slide open and I smiled gratefully.
"See ya."

I let my hand stay against the wall as my other hand held my walking stick. My class had ended early, so I thought I could explore before Alyssa came to find me.
I had to memorize this anyway.
"Oh my gosh! Did you see her eyes?!" I sighed hearing that familiar comment. My eyes always scared people. My maid tried covering my eyes with my hair. Apparently that didn't work.
I messed with my hair until I was satisfied it felt like my eyes were covered.
Suddenly my walking stick hit a door.
Frowning, I traced the door sign.
M U S I C R O O M 3
Curiously I opened the door.
I didn't expect to get assaulted by rose petals, which smelled really strongly by the way.
"Welcome."
Immediately, on instinct, my head shot to the ground. "S-sorry." I stuttered softly, feeling for the door handle.
I felt a hand reach to my chin, but I jerked back.
"First time princess?" A happy-go-lucky voice asked next to my ear.
I squeaked and jerked away.
"Hey, I haven't seen her before."
"Yeah, who's she Kyoya?" An identical voice asked, meanwhile I was avoiding that voice guy.
"Kai Sakura, age 15, first student accepted with-"
"H-hasn't anyone ever told you, it's rude to say others private business?" I interrupted.
"My apologies, Ms. Sakura." I could hear the smirk in his voice.
I scowled and continued avoiding the overly happy one."I'm ba- Senpai! What are you doing?" A feminine voice asked.
"Get him away please." I pleaded the new one.
I heard a loud thud and suddenly the voice guy was wailing.
I flinched and wrapped my hand around the door handle, which I finally found.
So maybe exploring isn't the best idea.
That thought only fit even more when the identical voices asked me, "so which of us do you want to order?"
"None!" I shied away from their touch.
Suddenly the doors flew open.
"Kai?" Thank god. It was Alyssa. I turned to the direction of the voice pleadingly.
She sighed, "I leave you alone for class and what do you do? You get kidnapped." She tugged on my sleeve.
"Ah! Another princess!"
"Get away pervert. And stay away from us." She declared before dragging us out of the room.
"We should not stay away from them!" The guy with the weird voice declared.
"Idiots." I muttered.
I hate it when I go into the wrong room.
