i want to thank you for all that you have done for me. if it wasn't for you, i would be failing half of my classes. thank you for taking so much time out of each week to tutor me and help me better understand things.

thank you for agreeing to meet with me in private. i was so embarrassed that my grades had fallen so quickly and drastically and you understood that.

you never laughed at me, nor did you make me feel dumb for not understanding certain topics.
you were patient with me and repeated things as many times as i needed you to. you helped me rediscover the intelligence that was inside of me.

i know that before you began tutoring me, we weren't very close, but now i consider you as a close friend and someone who is very important to me.
