(Nick's POV)
I was lying in bed.It was pouring rain outside.I felt bad for Cory.Why?He had to guard the wall with a weak umbrella."GUYS!!!"Cory yelled.I ran outside with Uni,Dawnsworth, and Adam.I saw Cory carrying a little girl that had been shot in the shoulder.She had a floral pink torn up from the bottom dress with small black boots and a purple backpack.I gasp in shock.Uni barked something that I assumed to be asking what happened."I have no idea.This little girl just trembled her and fainted right before my eye!"Cory said in a panic."Do not worry.I shall patch up the small child."Dawnsworth said.Cory ran with Dawnsworth to the hospital we made.I could only feel worried.Not because Dawnsworth isn't a good doctor.

Cory is known to be a clutz and break important stuff.

(Nick's POV)
We were all waiting for them to come out.Then I heard the doors open.My head turned to see Cory holding the hand of the same little girl but bandaged and crying.He picked her up and hugged her."Shhh its okay..."He said."Never knew Cory could be sane."Adam said making the little girl giggle a little.I took the child from Cory."Whats your name?"I asked her.I swear I could hear Uni and Adam trying to hold back fangirl screams.I guess for Uni it would be fangirl barks.Or would it be fanboy barks?Its to confusing to think about.
"T-Tala."She said.I noticed she had jet black hair and blue eyes.Her shoulder,wrist,and left knee had been bandaged up."Do you know how you got here?"Cory asked.I blushed.He was standing next to me.Tala looked away to sob.I hugged her and calmed her down.I was caring Tala with one arm as she cried into my shoulder."C'mon Nick,we should get Tala a room."Cory said grabbing my hand and leading him to our house.No we weren't dating,but I wish we were.We were roommates.I blushed at him holding my hand.He takes us to his room.I'm still blushing like a madman.

My gay thoughts were interrupted by Cory talking.

"Nick if you don't mind we can share a room and I'll give Tala my room."I blush bright pink but nod in agreement.Tala jumps out of my hands and starts jumping on the bed laughing.I giggled at her behavior and Cory just smirked.

(5 weeks later.Still Nick's POV.Also they have twin beds.)
Tala had kept me up all night last night.I fell onto the couch and sighed.Tala kept bugging me says me and Cory were her "OTP" whatever the hell that means
I heard the front door open and close.I sit up to see Cory putting Peach cans and soup in the fridge and counters."Hi Cory."I said.He turned bright red."H-Hiya Nick."He stuttered out.Tala was giggling."DO IT!"She shouted with happiness in her voice.Cory sat down next to me.I'm not blushing...Baka.Always wanted to say that....Well think it at least.He scooted clsoer."I'VEALWAYSWANTEDTOSAYI'VEFOUNDYOUEXTREMELWATTRACTIVE"He said and before I could react I felt a pair of lips smash onto mine.My eyes widened but I kissed back,wrapping my arms around his neck.He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer.We had to break the kiss because of a vile thing we call 'air'.I yawned and felt Cory lie down and cuddle me.I yawned again as I fell asleep in his arms,hearing Tala squeal like she just got a puppy.
