World: Real Life

"Why are we doing this? I feel like a kid." "I'm honestly not sure, just wanted to spend the day with you." "Nick, we spend everyday together." "True, but can't we do something different?"

Nick asked, picking up his gun. "Of course we can, but laser tag, really?" "You'll have fun, don't worry."

Cory rolled his eyes, picking up his own gun. "Still, it's kinda childish." Nick sighed, kissing the side of Corys head.

They walked into the maze of lights that was the arena. Nick went one way and Cory went the other. At least it wasn't just the two of them. They were both in Washington for awhile, visiting. So Adam was with them, so were Red, Barney, Max, Ross, Tim, and Shelby. Along with some other people Cory didn't know to well.

"I'm totally gonna win." Cory heard Adam say from somewhere in the maze. Then there was the sound of  a vest being shot. "WAIT NO FUCK MAX GO AWAY." Also Adam. "Suck it, Adam!"

Cory laughed at them, trying to find someone. He felt a hand grip his shoulder, and he jumped. He looked behind him to see Nick smiling back. "Oh, hi Nick." "Hey Cory."

Without another word, Nick pushed him into a corner, kissing him roughly. Cory was a little surprised, scince anyone could come around a corner and see them. They knew Nick and Cory were dating, of course, it's just that Nick was basically making out with him right now.

But then Cory heard the sound of a vest deactivating. He broke the kiss and looked down, it was him who had been shot. He looked back up at Nick, who had a devilish smirk on his face. Nick quickly walked away, before Corys vest could turn back on.

"WHAT THE FUCK NICK THAT'S NOT FAIR!!!" Cory yelled. He could hear Nick laugh while running away swiftly. He could also hear Adam laughing, probably because Cory had yelled.

As soon as his vest had turned back on, he stalked away from the corner to find Nick.

Instead, he found Adam a couple of times, shooting him before Adam could even see him, Ross, who was surprisingly very good at this game, and Shelby, who came running at him shooting wildly. He was actually very confused at what she was doing, so he didn't shoot her before it was to late. Guess that tactic worked afterall.

But he didn't see Nick for the rest of the game. When it was over, they all walked out, taking off their vests and looking at the scoreboard.

"Oh look who came in first!" Adam said. "Famous YouTube God, Redvacktor!" "You know it." "But look who came in last." Barney said. Adam looked back at the scoreboard. "WHAT?! How did I lose?! I'm not that bad!"

"Apparently you are." Nick said, coming up from behind Cory and wrapping an arm around his shoulders. Adam looked at him with a bitch face. They all erupted into laughter. They stuck around awhile before heading back home. Nick was staying with Red and Barney, as he usually did, so Cory was staying with them, too.

Later that night, as Barney and his brother, Eren, were making dinner, Red, Nick, and Cory were watching TV. Nick had his arm around Cory, and they were sharing a blanket. Red was sitting on a separate couch, not paying attention to them.

"Hey Nick?" "Yeah?" "Earlier, when we were playing laser tag, after you shot me, I looked around for you, but couldn't find you. Where did you go?" "I was purposefully trying to avoid you because I knew I'd get shot."

Cory hit him in the arm playfully. "Well, your lucky I didn't find you, or else I wouldn't have stopped shooting you." "Exactly why I was staying as far away as possible."

Cory laughed lightly, snuggling up to Nick and putting his gaze back onto the TV. Nick smiled, also going back to watching.
